Boy charged in neo-Nazi father's death had problems with violence and aggression
(CBS/KCBS/AP) RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The 10-year-old boy charged with murdering his neo-Nazi father Jeffery R. Hall, had past problems with aggression and violence after being caught in the middle of a nasty divorce, a report says.
Police responded to Hall's home in Riverside Sunday at 4 a.m., where they found him dead from one bullet wound, reports CBS station KCBS.
Authorities claim that the boy intentionally shot the 32-year-old Hall that morning.
The boy was charged Wednesday in Riverside County juvenile court with one count of murder involving the use of a gun. Authorities are not commenting on motive.
The accused boy's mother, Leticia Neal of Spokane, Wash., said she pleaded with the courts to grant her custody of their 10-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter after learning about her ex-husband's neo-Nazi ties. During their divorce proceedings Neal accused Hall of abusing their two children, but the charges were never substantiated, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Hall was a regional leader of the National Socialist Movement, which promotes white separatism. His other four children have been taken into protective custody.
