Billboard Music Awards to be a star-studded affair

(CBS News) Charlie Sheen, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Wiz Khalifa are just some of the stars expected to attend the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Adele, LMFAO, and Rihanna are among the night's top nominees.

The 2012 ceremony will feature performances by Carrie Underwood, Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, LMFAO, The Wanted, Nelly Furtado, Usher, Katy Perry, Linkin Park and Chris Brown.

The late Whitney Houston will be remembered with the Billboard Millennium Award.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Alicia Keys will present the Billboard Icon Award to Stevie Wonder. They are also expected to perform together.

Presenters include Sheen, Whoopi Goldberg, Swizz Beatz, Lisa Marie Presley, Wiz Khalifa, Luke Bryan, Robin Thicke, Brandy, Monica, Miley Cyrus, Taio Cruz, Gavin DeGraw, Gladys Knight, Julianne Hough, Natasha Bedingfield, Jeremy Sisto, Jordin Sparks and John Legend.

Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen of "Modern Family" will host the event, airing live on ABC Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
