Batanga Adds Fourth Round Of Funding For Ad Net

Hispanic entertainment and media company Batanga has raised its fourth round of funding. Though the company didn't disclose the amount, VentureWire pegs it at $2.5 million, citing a regulatory filing. Previous backers Tudor Ventures and H.I.G. Ventures led the round, with participation from existing angel investors; Batanga has raised about $40 million in total, including a $30 million round in 2007. Miami-based Batanga will use the new money to expand HispanoClick, the Hispanic-focused ad network it acquired last year. Release.
