Babysitter killed, infant in her care uninjured

HOUSTON -- A babysitter was found dead in a Houston apartment Tuesday afternoon, and the infant she was babysitting was found unhurt nearby, reports CBS affiliate KHOU.

Police say Ciara Brown, 28, was shot and killed by a man named Anndrae Gilbert, 45, who was charged with murder Tuesday evening.

Police have not described Gilbert's relationship to the victim. However, neighbors say they have heard the woman having loud arguments with her boyfriend.

KHOU reports that neighbors called police after hearing glass break and a commotion soon after.

Brown was found on the bedroom floor; the baby was found just feet away.
