(CBS/KPHO) TEMPE, Ariz. - Investigators in Arizona are searching for a 19-year-old Arizona State University student who has been missing since Friday.

Jack Culolias was reportedly last seen leaving the Cadillac Ranch bar and grill in Tempe around 11 p.m. Friday night, CBS affiliate KPHO reports. He left his wallet and cell phone behind.

Police say they've gotten reports that the freshman was seen getting into a taxi outside the bar, but it's just one story they've heard, according to KPHO.

The station says police have received reports that a red shoe was found at an embankment near Tempe Town Lake. The missing teen's mother said she recognized it immediately but Tempe police have not confirmed that it belongs to her son.

ASU police spokesman Jim Hardina said the teen's mother was worried about possible hazing because Culolias was pledging to a fraternity, KPHO reports.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office reportedly brought in search dogs Tuesday afternoon to canvass an area near Tempe Town Lake.

Culolias is described as 6' tall and has brown eyes and brown hair. Police say there is not reason to suspect foul play at this point.
