Dick was in the process of filming his web show "Andy Dick Live!" when his boss, Alki David, confronted him about his drug and alcohol problems, reports Celebuzz.

An interventionist from Oasis rehabilitation center in Anaheim, Calif., appeared and when the star admitted he needed help, escorted him to the facility, according to the site.

Dick's battle with addiction has been documented in the tabloids and on TV. Last May, he was arrested for public intoxication in Temecula, Calif., and in 2009 he was featured on VH1's "Sober House," a "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" spin-off.
