"Anchorman" sequel release date set for December 2013
Paramount Pictures has set a release date for its sequel to "Anchorman."
The follow-up to the 2004 cult-hit comedy will arrive in theaters on Dec. 20, 2013, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Will Ferrell will return as news anchor Ron Burgundy. Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Steve Carell and Christina Applegate will also be back.
Adam McKay, who helmed the original "Anchorman," co-wrote the sequel's screenplay and will also direct.
