"American Idol" finalist Angie Miller won't be tickling the ivories on this season's final showdown.

The piano-playing 19-year-old singer from Beverly, Mass., was revealed Thursday to have received the fewest viewer votes on the Fox talent contest, leaving 23-year-old R&B vocalist Candice Glover of St. Helena Island, S.C., and 22-year-old country crooner Kree Harrison of Woodville, Texas, to compete on next week's finale. All along, Miller appeared to be the one contestant to beat.

"I love you guys," Miller said to Glover and Harrison before her dismissal.

Miller mostly impressed the judges Wednesday with her performances of Elton John's "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word," Pink's "Try" and Emeli Sande's "Maybe."

However, the budding singer-songwriter apparently didn't win over enough voters, despite never appearing as one of the show's low vote-getters and having thousands more followers than Glover and Harrison on Twitter.

An emotional Miller could barely make it through her swan song, a rendition of former "Idol" contestant Colton Dixon's "Never Gone."

Glover and Harrison will face off for the show's record deal grand prize Wednesday, with the 12th season "Idol" champion crowned on Thursday. Both women have found themselves at the bottom of the voting spectrum once before during the contest.

The night before, Randy Jackson said this season featured the best final three contenders in the show's history. And is it turns out, after this season, Jackson will be history. He announcedThursday that he's parting ways with the series after 12 years.
