Amber Alert for Missing Siblings After Mother Tyna George Pulls Them out of School

HURST, Texas (CBS/KTVT) Police are  searching for a mother and her two children after the mother, who is allegedly mentally ill, abruptly quit her job and pulled the children out of school.

According to CBS affiliate KTVT, Hurst police are asking for help in searching for the mother, Tyna George, and her children Macy and Haden. Police issued an Amber Alert after a welfare check.

On Monday afternoon, Tyna George quit her job and took her 11-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter out of school at Harrison Lane Elementary.

The children's grandmother is concerned about the kids because their mother is experiencing mental illness, says KTVT.

Haden George is 4'10'' with brown hair and blue eyes and Macy George is 3'9'' with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police believe Tyna George is driving a white 1998 Nissan Sentra with a Texas license plate of 969 FZF. The car has an 'MCM' sticker on the back.

The mother is 5'9" and weighs about 230 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
