9-1-1 Emergency Date? Ohio Woman Calls Looking for Love

Bernadette Music (KEYC)

NORWOOD, Ohio (CBS/WKRC) When an Ohio woman had a hard time getting a date last week she dialed 9-1-1 instead.

The love-seeker was successful in procuring a date... in court that is.

A 43-year-old Norwood, Ohio woman named Bernadette Music called 9-1-1 up to five times last week asking the dispatcher to go out with her, reports CBS affiliate WKRC.

The allegedly intoxicated woman called the emergency number after she was unable to reach a dating line, say police.

CBS affiliate KEYC reported on an excerpt of the awkward conversation between Music and a 91-1- dispatcher:

       Music: "And I look healthy I'm 5'1 and ok...I weigh 120 pounds...."

Dispatcher: "Wow that is better than what I weigh"

Alas, the woman and the dispatcher will not be making beautiful music together.

Authorities had little patience for Bernadette's emergency pursuit of romance, and she's been charged with disorderly conduct. Her big date, in court, is set for September.
