73 Free Programs for Mac Users
We don't use Macs here at Business Hacks, but we do love free stuff. So when PC Magazine rounded up a whopping 73 freebies for the Mac OS (I didn't know there were that many programs for the platform, ha ha), I knew we had to share it.
And lest you think they cheated by mixing in Web-based free stuff like Meebo and Google Docs, all 73 picks are bona fide downloads -- with an "emphasis on productivity" (which we always applaud). A couple winning examples for your perusal:
10. Fluid http://fluidapp.com Site-specific browsers, such as Fluid, do one thing: they let you turn a Web site into a launchable application. Fluid will create an icon for the site and launch it in its own Window, which you can treat like any other application.
