3 dead, 4 wounded in drive-by shooting in California

Seven people were shot at a Stockton, California grocery store Tuesday, leaving three dead, reports CBS Sacramento.

The drive-by shooting happened in the center of the city.

Two women and a man were killed, authorities said. One died at the scene, while the others died in a hospital, police added. The other four victims are expected to survive.

Stockton Police spokesman Joe Silva says the area where the shooting happened is a high-crime area.
