(CBS/AP) SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - On the heels of the bust of a huge international pedophile ring in the Netherlands, police in Bosnia have announced that investigators there have seized some 2 million child pornography pictures and 7,000 video clips, in the arrest of an alleged member of another global online child porn operation.

Police said on Monday that the unidentified 46-year-old suspect was arrested over the weekend following a raid on his home in the northern town of Derventa.

Spokeswoman Mirna Soja described the suspect as an "important member" of the international pedophile community and said he was "producing and posting online child sexual abuse materials."

Soja also said police found a suitcase full of children's clothes at the scene.

However, she said he appeared not to be linked with a huge international pedophile ring centered in the Netherlands that was revealed last week following a three-year investigation code named Operation Rescue.

The operation against that ring centered on an Amsterdam-based online forum called boylover.net and uncovered 670 suspects and identified and safeguarded children in more than 30 countries by arresting people accused of abusing them.

The investigation of that heavily encrypted forum, which had up to 70,000 members, was led by Britain's Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center but also involved law enforcement agencies as far afield as Australia, the United States and Thailand.
