Cohen's comments are non-contibutive. In fact, Cohen actually thinks he should be the centerpiece of this nomination process. They aren't there to please YOU Cohen.

The possibly most absurd concept I have ever enountered is that of an "undefined" right. Rights issue from some form of law. What could be the meaning of an "undefined" law?

Sotomayor says she actually agrees w/ what Sandra Day O'Conner said, (even though at the time she said she did't), but O'Conner just didn't know how to say what she really meant as well as Sotomayor did.

Amazing how Sessions and George Bush are alike. Bush invaded the wrong country and Sessions is asking questions about Miguel Estrada, when the whole wide world knows that Sotomayer is the nominee. Send the redneck Session back home. And as for Cohen's comments, he is totally missing the legal points being discussed and is more like a trivia reporter.

About Senator Leahy, Committee Chair.:JUNE 9, 1987 WALL STREET JOURNAL,section:JUSTICES DELAYED

Third paragraph reads: The American Bar Association twice has rated Judge Sentelle "Well qualified", but that did not prevent Vermont?s Senator Patrick Leahy from announcing that Judge Sentelle's membership in the Masons could disqualify him. According to Senator Leahy's information, Masons have to be "male, white and believe in a supreme being."

Do you think Senator Patrick Leahy has had a change of heart since then?

WHICH Latino voters would that be? Do you mean Puerto Ricans? How many are that liberal? How many agree with activism for THEM ONLY and do not represent ALL Hispanics...how many approve of abortion? How many HATE WHITE GUYS? Get real....Sometimes race politics comes back to bite someone in the B.....! (fill in the blank...fitfully so)

Most Hispanics I have discussed the process with, have watched the process, are highly ticked-off at the mugging of Judge Sotomayer by Sens. Kyl and Graham. Most have sworn never, ever to support any Republican for public office again. They believe those two Senators, representing two of the most racist states were exercising their particular brand of discrimination and disparaging the judge's character. In other words, the ballot box is where the greatest anger against Republicans will be exercised.

Repukes just LOVE to whine, don't they?

Judge Sotomayor is just about the most conservative judge you could ever expect a Democratic President to nominate. By slandering her, the GOP solidifies its "base" (the Limbaughians), and they alienate all rational, thinking citizens. The GOP is toast. Where are the Whigs? The same fate awaits the republicans.
