Clinton Undergoes Successful Elbow Surgery

(AP)
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton this morning underwent successful surgery to repair her right elbow, according to the State Department. Clinton fractured the elbow during a fall Wednesday while on her way to the White House.

"Her doctors at The George Washington University Hospital have advised her that they expect her to make a full recovery without lasting damage to her arm," said Cheryl D. Mills, Counselor and Chief of Staff at the State Department. "After the surgery she returned to her home in Washington where she will remain with her family through the weekend."

Mills said the secretary of state, along with her husband Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea, is "grateful for the many prayers and messages of good will they have received these past few days, and are so very thankful for the excellent care provided by the doctors, nurses and the staff of The George Washington University Hospital."

The surgery took place at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time this morning.

This is a total waste of medical care! Oops! I forgot she's got the best health care plan in the U.S.! That ultra cheap, full coverage, publicly financed care that Congress attained for ITSELF! In other words, her
care is ON THE PUBLIC!

I would like to wish Hillary a fast and full recovery from her surgery. I know this must have been a very painful break and so sorry it had to happen.
My regards to Bill and Chelsey as well.

I sure hope she doesn't read any of the disgusting comments on some of the other articles, on CBS, wishing her pain and suffering.

Just remember, all you jerks, "What goes around, comes around".

I know North Korea and Iran are hot right now but if she needed time off she could have just asked. After all, the administration has no foreign policy positions anyway.

I hope her private health insurer doesn't drop her for making a claim. Oh wait, she has taxpayer funded health insurance. Nevermind.
