Clinton Breaks Her Elbow After Fall

(AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais)
President Obama's disabled list is growing.

The latest news is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fractured her right elbow after a fall on her way to the White House on Wednesday.

Clinton was treated and released from a hospital near the State Department headquarters. Her chief of staff says she will undergo surgery in the coming week, reports the Associated Press.

The secretary has not made any public appearances since the fall. She was scheduled to appear with actress Angelina Jolie today at an event marking World Refugee Day, but it looks like that will no longer happen.

Clinton's fall follows another high profile fall by Sonia Sotomayor, Mr. Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court, who fractured her ankle at the airport 10 days ago on her way to Washington to meet with senators.

This epidemic is also spreading abroad. Last weekend, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was left with a broken arm after a fall at her home. Her spokesman today said she will soon have surgery for the injury.

"Her chief of staff says she will undergo surgery in the coming week, reports the Associated Press."

How come she has to wait so long for surgery?

Elbow fractures hurt bigtime. The worst part is they invariably lead to motion problems and arthritis at her age. Hillary take care. Sorry it had to happen to a nice lady like you. Bill, no more playing, get your apron and get to work. I want the dishes and laundry done by the time Hillary gets home. OK!

Wow! I forgot that Clinton was involved in government. She hasn't done anything in years! Was Huma Abedin with her, to "clean it up" for her? That's right, we al remember the $25k/yr "aide" with the $250k wardrobe who is always by Hillary's side.
Huma will be on Hillary's health care plan pretty soon..

Seems Obama has a real knack for picking tax crooks and people that can't walk and chew gum at the same time! Maybe this on the job training is a bit to much for the community organizer.

Come on stuart, you spend happy libs would just love for Bush to fall on his rear. Also did you read where the Obungler plan will eat up more than 75% of the GNP to just pay the interest? Can you imagine what will happen? We will wish we never seen the community organizer that has never done nothing but take and spend other peoples money.

You mean Hillary can't give him a "little sumpin sumpin" just because one arm is out of commission?

It's one thing to read the constant back and forth vicious hatred for each other(liberals and conservatives), but when you actually start wishing someone bodily harm, or are jumping for joy when someone injures themselves, that's when you know that you are truly SICK.

I wished harm to my ex for ten years and then he was in the path of Hurricane Hugo in 1988, and I decided that was bad enough; I didn't spend any more time wishing for it. What I have learned is that "Time heals all wounds," and "Time wounds all heels."

Uh, oh! Could this be a trend?
I guess you'd say that people are falling for political reasons, perhaps?

I do hope Secretary Clinton gets better soon, in any event.
YOU GEAUX, Hillary!

Yes, when you are our age, falling is a lot more important than it was 40 years ago.

Lol lots of poor bitter powerless neocons here. Funny stuff! Buck up - only 7.5 more years to go before you have a chance at relevance again.
