Obama Smacks Down Pesky Fly

The president proved yesterday he will not tolerate distractions from his hefty political agenda -- at least not those coming from pesky insects.

President Obama addressed issues ranging from health care to financial industry reform in a lengthy interview on CNBC on Tuesday, but he was interrupted by a fly persistently buzzing around his head.

"Hey! Get out of here," Mr. Obama said.

After a few irritated swats, the president zeroed in on the pest and patiently waited for it to land on his hand. He gave it a quick smack and watched it fall to the floor.

"That was pretty impressive, wasn't it?" Mr. Obama said. "I got the sucker."

Watch the moment below.

sigh, ok PETA is a very respectable organization, and i applaud their work, they save alot of horribly abused animals, this is something we should all support. Abusing animals is wrong and very mentally weak. Sick people abuse animals. However, as far as the fly? Please PETA, you are giving yourself a bad name over the fly. One step forward, two steps back every time you waste the money people send you to defend a fly? it's a stupid fly! I'd kill it anyway possible if it were bugging me like that, the President is not going to get up in the middle of an interview or call his aide in to waste time chasing a fly around with your humane fly catcher only to kill it ANYWAY. Do the people at PETA really think the fly 'knows' how he was being killed? Does it really matter that much? why are we having this STUPID debate? You can do better than this non sense PETA and stop wasting our donations defending disease carrying insects!

So what if Barry fired this guy in violation of the law, He is the chozen one. Laws don't apply to him. Why does CBS, CNN, and NBC feel the need to cover this up?

This is not news. CBS was always better than this. What about the Inspector General being fired? Please investigate.
