Fake Flyer Tells VA Dems To Vote On Nov. 5th

Virginia's State Board Of Elections has released a "rumor buster" document telling voters to disregard a flyer claiming that Democrats should vote on November 5th.

"A fake flyer claiming it is from the State Board of Elections has been circulating, stating that Republican Party supporters shall vote on November 4 and Democratic Party supporters shall vote on November 5," the document states. "This information is false."

Election Day, of course, is November 4th for all voters.

Director of Communications Susan S. Pollard told Horserace that the source of the fliers is presently unknown, though the police are looking into it. She said it was distributed in predominantly African American areas, notably "Virginia Beach, Hampton Roads and Norfolk." Below, a copy of the flyer. Click here for the PDF.

McCain''s survival is in doubt itself, considering his age. Why are you pinning your hopes for survival on him

There are plenty of places to trash obama. why not comment on the issue? Maybe some people dont read issues that dont agree with them.
I have never in my life seen a democratic voter flyer that distorts our basic right to vote.

I want to give kudos out to CNN. They have posted a 1-800 number to call so they can expose polling stations trying to suppress the vote. I also will like to commend the FL governor for keeping the polling stations open for 12 hours instead of 8 to accomodate the large turn-out of early voters in his state. Lets get these corrupt repubs out of DC most expeditiously.

This ACORN trash is just that - trash! They register people to vote and that is all. If there are bogus registrations, ACORN is obliged by law not to dispose of them. The GOP is just interested in keeping the voter turn-out low. I would think in a democracy, one would be more inclined to err on the side of INCLUSION rather than supress the vote....But not the GOP. I wonder why?

The McCain Campaign assumes that Democrats are as intelligent as their own Republican Constituency?

This is what I like about Obama, his determination. Although he has a double-digit lead in PA he still held his scheduled rally there despite inclement weather. 9,000 people attended (that would be a big rally for McCain). Although John is behind, he canceled his rally. This said a lot to me about who wants it more. I look forward to saying President-Elect Obama.

insight2008, I see you are hanging your hopes on straws. Most of America is turned off by you repubs, and watch Obama bring this victory home. Instead of worrying about the gallup poll (which I truly doubt is showing it so close) you better be worried about FL, NC, NV and Virginia all red states still showing Obama with a significant lead. I am listening to the pundits and they are starting to sound like they did when Hillary was on the ropes in the primaries when talking about McCain chances. They are using words like "daunting" and "unlikely" and "challenging" when talking about McCain''s chances...

It should have been obvious that the flyer is a fake. It has two punctuation mistakes in the first sentence.
"Due to ... this years electorial process. An emergency session..."

Missing apostrophe in year''s, and an unnecessary period and capital after process.
And my spell checker does not recognize electorial.

Let''s see. The x Detroit mayor is going to jail for 4 months. A MA Senator just got caught taking bribes and stuffing the money in her bra. Well, I guess that beats putting it in the freezer. How about that FL Congressman who admitted running around on his wife and has been accused of using Fed money to suppress the 3 women involved? You know, the one Pelosi said she was going to look into. Well, Nancy, what did you find and did you look? Hell no. Etc, etc. Dems seem to have a real problem with money and ***. Are we going to see any of this in the Elite Eastern Media. Hell no. We WILL see Alaska Ted (throw the bum in jail as far as I am concerned)and such.
My, my, Obama, how your Mr. Rogers'' neighborhood continues to grow. You need to thank your lucky stars the LA TIMES ain''t releasing THE TAPE. You know, the one about just another one of those guys in your neighborhood. Tell them to release the tape and you will take your chances. Can you believe that even 1 Jewish voter will vote for this radical ticket?
But folks may be catching on. Today''s Gallop Poll of likely voters: On Oct 24: OB 51% Mac 44%.
Today: OB 49% Mac 47%. OB, the news continues to come out. Be concerned. Very concerned. Joe B..herd those folks to the polls quickly before the truth emerges.

Barack Obama is hiding ties to Islamic extremists, black nationalists and anti-Semites that stretch back decades. Some reportedly helped pay his college tuition. Others have housed his campaign operations, raised political funds, and pressed his case to be the next president of the United States. They are unsavory characters, and among his staunchest supporters.

Let''''s see, in the last two weeks we''''ve had bear cubs killed and adorned with Obama signs by Republicans (North Carolina), 30 cars'''' tires slashed at an Obama rally by Republicans (North Carolina), neo-Nazis arrested for death threats against blacks and Obama (likely Republicans) (Tennessee), and now fake flyers sent out to confuse the poor by Republicans (Virginia). The pattern of desperation by southern Republicans continues, trying way too hard to hold onto ill-gotten power through death, vandalism, violence, and lies. Now there''''s a party platform to be proud of. If Obama didn''''t have independents'''' votes before, he certainly should now.

Amen to that! I find the Southern Republicans the very worst of them all. These redneck trailer trash are hiding behind a gun and rationalizing the most horrid behavior in the name of Jesus. I think the South should rethink its Christian values before they stoop to such lows. Fascism will arrive draped in a flag and carrying a cross. Sound familiar ?

The Endorsement From Hell

John McCain isn%u2019t boasting about a new endorsement, one of the very, very few he has received from overseas. It came a few days ago:

%u201CAl Qaeda will have to support McCain in the coming election,%u201D read a commentary on a password-protected Islamist Web site that is closely linked to Al Qaeda and often disseminates the group%u2019s propaganda.

The endorsement left the McCain campaign sputtering,........(the article continues from here)..
