GOP Robo-Calls Hitting Ayres Issue

Republicans are making robo-calls (automated phone calls) in key states that raise Barack Obama’s association with William Ayers in harsh new language, the Politico reports. The latest in a series of calls claims Obama “worked closely” with Ayers, a former member of the Weather Underground, who “killed Americans.” The call, and similar ones, appear to be taking place in Wisconsin, New Mexico, Virginia, Maine, Florida, Missouri and North Carolina. CBS News confirmed that the RNC is behind the calls. The script:
Hello. I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC because you need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, whose organization bombed the U.S. capitol, the Pentagon, a judge's home and killed Americans. And Democrats will enact an extreme leftist agenda if they take control of Washington. Barack Obama and his Democratic allies lack the judgment to lead our country. This call was paid for by McCain-Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee at 202-863-8500.

The whole Republican platform is like a giant robocall.

Invent garbage, then repeat, repeat, repeat! Keep saying it until you convince people it is true.

Liberals are much deeper when it comes to thinking. If something is repeated, it does not actually mean it is true.

%u201CShock the victim, then accuse him of the crime you committed,%u201D is a Soviet psycho-political warfare technique now used by Islamic terrorists upon the very country of its origin -- Russia. Typically, victims take on the identity of the terrorist or hostage-taker and, out of sympathy, turn on their friends, just as Patty Hearst once did. The Stockholm Syndrome---where hostages end up sympathizing with their terrorist abductors---works on entire nations, not just on individuals.

The Russian population might well have its loyalties converted in favor of the terrorists that recently slaughtered so many innocent children. Indeed, President Putin is already getting the blame. America is now primed for a final transforming shock.

Because a nation with values is almost impossible to conquer, Communist and atheist strategists began their systematic attack upon the American family early in the 20 th century. They infiltrated our once-noble institutions of education, media, and government, so that the powerful few would dominate the docile many. The Soviet Union collapsed, but the seed, once planted here, took root. The result is two Americas in conflict, with the perpetrators of the quiet coup accusing the innocent.

They began by infiltrating our educational system and through that they made the government finance America%u2019s own downfall. They dumbed down our children in government schools and enabled them to grow up from irresponsible teenagers into spoiled-rotten and immoral parents.

Then they praised and excused their victims%u2019 wildness and let them believe they were acting from their own volition. They glorified that license as freedom; nurtured failings until it became hateful envy, and held up filth as art to arouse passions to the level of addiction.

All this, to weaken our national resolve and render us suggestible to the demands of terrorists in every form.

Then, when the programmers deem it time, they accuse the honorably elected of being tyrants and liars, just like their own rotten dads were. They use the %u201Chate-your-father-love-your-mother%u201D media to render those perceived deadbeat dads powerless and the nation leaderless.

It gets much worse. Let irrational debate grow to the point of paralyzing gridlock, to create an appearance of weakness that emboldens terrorists to blow up an entire city. Then point the finger of blame at the innocent---a father figure---for being responsible.

University-programmed journalists---elitist intellectuals and rebels against traditional fatherly discipline---with all their enabling feminine sensitivities, will then hail terrorists as heroes fighting for their rights against bullies.

Lie Lie Lie Express- Honor
SAD DESPERATION and DISHONOR

McCain has gone over to the "Dark Side". His campaign is so far from "Straight Talk" that there is no hope of finding their way back. It''s now "All LIES and DISTORTIONS, all of the time."

The McCain "LIE, LIE, LIE EXPRESS". Geez John. We know your campaign is now being run by ROVE hit men. Just give it up if you cannot muster even a little remaining HONOR.

You tell the truth, and the REPUBLICAN PARROT MACHINE says it''''s just the media lying to them. The PARROTS just cannot deal with reality. It intrudes on their RIGHT WING TALK RADIO FANTASY WORLD.

The BIGGEST LIES come from McCain.

In their blindness, people grope, and in their groping they blunder,
and when they blunder they get sick and create all sorts of problems.

Because of their fall from Truth people need doctors, lawyers,
Ministers, marriage counselors, psychologists%u2014all kinds of problem
solvers who should never have come into being in the first place.

Outside of Mother Teresa (may she RIP), there are basically two kinds of people: those who live their lives in an essentially selfish manner and feel guilty about it. They%u2019re called liberals. And those who live their lives in an essentially selfish manner and are proud of it. They%u2019re called conservatives. Does it really surprise anyone that the GOP is reduced to this?????That they are this desperate that they are willing to stoop to theses tactics.... Is that all they can trump up on OBAMA ....that he serve on a board with this guy....My god, I also went to school with a girl who was found shoplifting so does that make me a criminal? We have so many serious issues going on...WAR,looming deep financial crisis, health care crisis, looming climate change that will alter our lifes as we know it, energy crisis...and John McCain talks and talks about this????Oh please... you would have to be stupid to vote for someone like this. He who casts the first stone.....

Look OBAMA clear the record last night and it is consistent with what investigative news reporters from both parties so what is the deal...are they are afraid that people may look at Palin''s dirty laundry? At least OBAMA has taken the higher road with her and her families abuses of power.

I voted for Bush the first time. Shame on me. I changed horses for his second election as it was obvious that he and his cronies were leading us in the wrong direction. McCain is completely out of touch with the needs of the American people. His and his wife''s lack of basic feelings for the problems of the vast majority of the American people is best typified by his wife wearing a $300,000 outfit at the convention. Maybe they left her cheaper things at one of their other 8 homes. We must change direction and regain our sense of right. The Republican party has been hijacked by Corporate America and the far right wing religious factions.

Billy Graham''s Prayer For Our Nation

THIS GUY SURE HAS A GOOD VIEW OF WHAT''S HAPPENING TO THIS COUNTRY!

''Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, ''Woe to those who call evil good,'' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor''s possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!''

God is so big He can cover the whole world with his Love
and so small He can curl up inside your heart.
May your Day be blessed.

This issue was far from cleared in the debate. Obama''s ties to Ayers go far beyond the board they served together on and none of that was addressed. Obama was hired by Ayers to promote and distribute funds for his radical agenda. Obama wrote a preface in Ayers book. Together they donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to ACORN. Obama continued to lie during the debate, denying that he launched his campaign for the Illinois senate at Ayers house. That event has been documented. I don''t believe that Obama is the radical type that Ayers is, but the fact that he has changed his story numerous times on this relationship tells me that there are some surprises in there he doesn''t want to deal with.

I guess you GOP''ers just don''t "get it", do you? I think you secretly WANT to lose the election. Why else would you keep talking about something nobody cares about? It''s not like you don''t have plenty of evidence it''s not working. The polls tell you, and the PEOPLE have told you. When McCain went after the Ayers thing in last night''s debate, all of the focus group''s dial testers went down. I''m starting to think you people really are just that stupid. But please. Keep talking about Bill Ayers. As much and as often as you like. Meanwhile, Obama will continue to talk to the people about the economy and where they''re hurting, the same things he has been talking about consistency since the day he announced he was running. When did McCain start talking about the economy? The day it tanked 3 weeks ago. And then he couldn''t decide, even with himself, what he thought or where he stood. He''s changed his mind and his positions more times than I can count. His first test and he''s failed it miserably. So yes, I think maybe McCain should keep talking about Ayers. Given the choice, it''s all he''s got.

Good post. I agree that there are other issues that must be addressed. I believe the Ayers issue should be a big issue as far as Obama''s judgement and his philosophies are concerned but McCain has tackled it with with such complete ineffectiveness. He has been too busy trying to be politically correct to actually touch on the heart of the issue. So McCain needs to get back to the basics of his supporters, that is smaller government, lower taxes, life, responsible exit strategy etc . . . McCains brought forth an excellent and inovative economic plan. He''s addressed the issues the current crisis has presented. I believe is a bit more formittable than what you give him credit for . . .

Scare tactics yet again. If this Ayers issue was really factual and something the American people should be concerned about, the Clinton campaign would have made it a major issue months ago and it would have been one of the first things the McCain campaign would have run with as soon as they found out they would be running against Obama. Anyone with any sense knows every major news affilliate swept under every rock for anything they could use to prove any real tie with Obama and Ayers. That and that alone proves there is nothing really there to bother with. I am more concerned about the miserable, sarcastic, and especially rude side of McCain I have seen the last three debates that he can''t seem to hide. How in the world would he be able to work with anyone that doesn''t agree with him if he can''t even present a non-hostile persona on National television for a 90 minute debate. After watching last night''s debate I went to Youtube and watched a couple of his angry confrontations with people. No one should talk like that to anyone...especially coming from the President of the United States. He has no control whatsoever when he gets angry. NMcCain is not Presidential material.
