Biden: McCain, Palin Are "Running The Most Scurrilous Campaign" In History

(CBS)
From CBS News' Ryan Corsaro:

(LANCASTER, OHIO) - Joe Biden says an editorial cartoon he saw in a local newspaper best summarized his feelings about the McCain campaign’s negative attacks on Barack Obama.

The cartoon, drawn by Daryl Cagle, appeared in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette today.

“There's a cartoon, I don't know if you guys saw this,” said Biden at a rally at Ohio University, “It's John McCain and Sarah Palin standing on the corner of a building that has on the bottom corner written 'BANK.' And it has a group of people, businessmen dressed in suits standing on the ledge, some of them jumping off into the street. And it has Sarah Palin saying to John McCain, "You know, Barack Obama pals around with terrorists, you know?"

“I think it best captures anything I have seen,” declared Biden.

“While the economy is going to hell in a handbasket, while people are losing their jobs, while things are going under, they're running the most scurrilous campaign in modern history trying to tie a decent honorable man raised by his grandparents and his mother who worked his way up -- who fought in a way that few people have to fight to make something of himself.”

Palin annoys me more and more every day. Enough with the "doggone it" and "you betcha" ***. Our country isn''t a PTA meeting.

During last night''s debate I realized that Sen. McCain and Sarah Paline seem well-matched when it comes to sarcasm and their inner rage.

you can keep lying to yourself if you want to but anyone with half a brain can do the research for themselves. McCain has significantly more ties to Wall St. Lobbyists ITS A FACT. and this financial mess was caused by BOTH parties i repeat BOTH PARTIES... also a FACT

As for Obamas character... a poor child raised by a single mother who put himself through viy league schools only to turn down tons of money and instead work for people in the poorest communities who might i add UNLIKE your patron Saint John Mccain has NEVER cheated on his wife!!!

A very scary thought. If by some some strange turn of events McCain/Palin should pull a Florida rabbit out of the hat and win,who will be the VP? Sarah Palin or her husband.Since he had unlimited access to the governors office and staff will he have the same pleasures at the VP level? Heaven forbid if McCain could not finish the term. Who would complete the term-Sarah or the first husband?

You know a persons character says a lot for him. Barack O''''bama''''s shady back ground is an issue. He doesn''''t salute our flag and he does have terrorist for friends. He plans to turn our country into a socialist society. Wake up you guys and smell the coffee. McCain is not Bush and he has a great plan for our economy and with him our country will get better. The democrats sank our economy but nobody wants to mention those little details. The democracts run both houses right now and they pushed for the housing bill that got us in the financial crisis we are in. I think the democrates have done enough damage. I think its time for John McCain to take over the white house and have a majority of repulicans and end the democratic stupidity. Doesn''''t anyone think is strange that O''''bama has people in his campaign that use to work for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac organizations, the two that went crashing down! No we do not need O''''bama in the white house, even though he does plan to get rid of its bowling ally and put in a basketball court, something else we tax payer will be paying for. No we need John McCain because he is honest, and he loves his country and has the experience to back him. O''''Bama is a flim flam man at best, because he has most people fooled and that isn''''t saying much for his character either. Vote John McCain.

Mcain is certainly circling the drain now...On the way down John, don''t forget to say goodbye to your new president....President Barack Obama!
You are a fool John MCcain! You are too immature to ever be the president of anything.
My 11 year old thinks your behavior during debate #3 was worse than a 2 year olds...interrupting, rolling your eyes, making grimaces, knashing your teeth...what next...are you going to poop in your pants too?
I think we all know the answer to that.
It''s time for you and your pit bull to pack it in and go home....the two of you are a disgrace to this country...and yes, even the children of this country, most of whom have better manners than the two of you put together. Thanks, but No Thanks McFailin!
