Obama Advertising In Video Game

The blogs are abuzz with word that Barack Obama's flush-with-cash campaign is advertising in the video game Burnout Paradise. Check out a screen grab from the game, which shows a billboard proclaiming, "Early Voting Has Begun," along with a url and photo of the candidate:

(Gigaom)
A spokesperson for Electronic Arts, the game’s publisher, confirmed the ad buy to GigaOM.

“Like most television, radio and print outlets, we accept advertising from credible political candidates,” Holly Rockwood said. “Like political spots on the television networks, these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams."

Obama gave legitimacy - and a whole lot of money - to education programs built around the same extremist anti-American ideology preached by Reverend Wright. [....]

John McCain, take note. Obama''s tie to Wright is no longer a purely personal question (if it ever was one) about one man''s choice of his pastor. The fact that Obama funded extremist Afrocentrists who shared Wright''s anti-Americanism means that this is now a matter of public policy, and therefore an entirely legitimate issue in this campaign.

The adolescent rites of passage movement that flowered in the 1990s grew out of the "cultural nationalist" or "Pan-African" thinking popular in radical black circles of the 1960s and 1970s. The attempt to create a virtually separate and intensely anti-American black social world began to take hold in the mid-1980s in small private schools, which carefully guarded the contents of their controversial curricula.

The background of this movement supported by Obama is breathtaking. The Big Media will never report to the American public what Obama was up to in running the CAC, information that is essential for the public to understand what he practices, as opposed to the airy platitudes he preaches. This is an astonishing dereliction of duty, yet all too common these days.

this is so retarded. There is no way he can have enough money for this. It also goes to prove that the media and almost everyone else is byest to the dems. My theory on how Obama got all this money is that he took it from his terrorist friends. Have yuo seen the new comercial from the GOP party. I know that it is on in Indiana but i dont know about other places. It says that 1 of his former advisors was the head of some terrorist coalition. GO MCAIN AND PAILIN!!!!!!!

Note to repug commentators: Your LAME attempts to convince people that Barack Obama is a [muslim/terrorist/arab/elitist/false-messiah/foreigner/alien/etc] is a WASTE OF TIME. Anyone stu.pid enough to believe that cr@pp0la is going to find it very difficult to even sign their name when it comes time to vote.

And then there''s the ACTUAL terrorist sympathizer, Sarah Palin, who supports the Alaska Independence Party. She PALS AROUND WITH TERRORISTS (her husband, for one!) They want to BREAK UP THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, which they HATE. The head of AIP told them to infiltrate the GOP to get power, and they did! They are the true enemies of AMERICA!

Face facts: Since McCain/Palin is your "best", the GOP is toast!

They are talking about "domestic" terrorist that''s been pardoned...Bill Ayers. But your heads are in the gutter so automatically link to mid-eastern terrorists. He bypassed public funding so he can spend more than the 87million cap set forth by fed. If he could raise 30-40 million/month during primary he can surely afford all these ads.

Obama is all about the FUTURE for America. His campaign has embraced technology and has a pulse on where the country is and where it needs to go. Obama is an honest, family man. If you don''t like his policies fine. But don''t try to tie him to others mistakes.

Compare that now to McCain''s erratic campaign and you clearly see which leader would be a betterpresident.

all these weird and hysterical theories....

Mccain is losing because he made some very bad judgements. In the polls, it appears that the majority of Americans do not like him, or Palin, or their ideas.

Obama is winning because he offered solutions and ideas and sound judgement.

Scream all you want about these truly insane theories of yours, but this is NOT rocket science. and it is NOT sinister.

People KNOW and TRUST their own opinions, not YOURS. Those days of the GOP forcing views on citizens or intimidating them with FEAR and HATE are o-v-e-r.

This has always been about issues, but you all keep missing that. Mccain totally BLEW THIS ELECTION. HE HAD HIS CHANCE TO MAKE HIS CASE AND HE DID NOT. BE MAD AT HIM----HE FAILED ON HIS OWN.

Honestly, who is Obama trying to relate to in these Video Games? The people I know that play video games are lazy people. Does Obama really think they are going to put down their controller to go out an vote. Or does the video game come with a rebate if you vote.
