Democratic Rep. Boren Won't Endorse Obama

Calling him "the most liberal senator" in Congress, Democratic Rep. Dan Boren of Oklahoma told the Associated Press on Tuesday that he won't endorse the presumptive Democratic nominee.

But Boren said that he will vote for Obama at the Democratic convention in August and also plans to vote for him on Election Day in November.

"I think this is an important time for our country," Boren told the AP. "We're facing a terrible economic downturn. We have high gasoline prices. We have problems in our foreign policy. That's why I think it's important."

Boren is the only Democrat in Oklahoma's congressional delegation and is seeking a third term in his largely rural district.

He is to be commended for not supporting an Unqualified, Inexperioenced, and Ethically Challenged candidate (Obama, in case you don''t know who I''m talking about). But then, of course, by now, everyone knows who you''re talking about when you say the magic letters UIEC. Mr. UIEC is bad for america and americans. Vote McCain 2008.

Well JamesBond1 if it''s you feeling that he shouldn''t be President because some muslim group claims to support his run for the White House then you are clueless as well. Tell me where Hamas & Barack Obama have anything in common? Obama has repeatedly said Hamas was a terrorist organization. He''s repeatedly said that Hamas has got to stop it''s violence against Israel. Barack is not a muslim & never was!!!!!

Here are(only)ten reasons that most Americans will not
Vote to continue the detrimental Conservative Polices:

Perpetual War at $12 Billion Dollars per month
Unfair Taxation
High prices for GASOLINE, electricity, natural gas, and everything else!! (like food),
High medical costs and prescription drugs
Pollution
Corruption
Religious Moral Hypocrisy and abuse of church tax laws.
Degradation of our infrastructure and first response agencies.
Continued export of American jobs to overseas slave labor.
Decline in US stature and respect of the world community.

What will you vote for?

@devildog777: FYI Alicrea1 wrote "They don%u2019t want a candidate that Hamas supports." and not "They don%u2019t want a candidate that supports Hamas."

fyi, i am from the netherlands and can see clearly the difference. The point made was that Hamas supports the candacy of Obama. And for sure, i wouldn''t hope to see Obama becomming president as well; not with the global rise of islam.

be blessed

To Alicerea1. I agree with Devildog777. YOU are absolutely clueless! I suggest it would be beneficial if you used your time to do a little (some serious) research. Research McCain and Mrs. Clinton as well. Start with the "Clinton Chronicles".
For a different point of view, for opinion sake, Louis Farrakhan is not a bad read. Then follow up with a lot of Black History. Then perhaps you won''t remain clueless.
Be Blessed.

Alicerea1 your post is so far out there it''s not even worth commenting on. But you''ve got to be a real fool to think that Barack & Farrakhan have anything in common. Your post is filled with so many untruths it''s sad. Tell me where & when has Barack supported Hamas? The true fact is that it never happened so I guess that makes you a liar. So why should anyone on here take you seriously??? THE POINT IS THAT WE DON''T!!!!! GET A CLUE & GET A LIFE!!!!!

The reason Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama is because they are embarrassed of him, his life, his unfair tactics and his beliefs. And they still don''t know all about him.

They don''t want a candidate that has been in a twenty year relationship with Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ.

They don%u2019t%u2019 want a candidate that has a twenty year relationship with Father Plaeger as his compass in life

They don%u2019t want a candidate that went to a church that supports Louis Farrakhan, an anti Semitic racist.

They don''t want to defend Black Liberation theology.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that lies about his relationship with Tony Rezko, the Syrian Criminal that sold his property to Obama and supported his campaign.

They don''t want a candidate that could work with a domestic terrorist, William Ayers.

They dont'' want a candidate that didn''t stand up for the voters of Michigan and Florida.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that Hamas supports.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam supports

They don%u2019t want a candidate that denies Florida and Michigan their voices

They don%u2019t want a candidate that mentions 57 states in his speeches. 50 states in the USA and 57 states in the Nation of Islam (IOC website)

They don%u2019t want a candidate that fights unfair and steals votes from his opponent.

The don%u2019t want a candidate that feels sorry to leave a church that is anti American and preaches hatred and racial views that are cruel and nasty.

They don''t want a candidate that is inexperienced.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that considers it a loss to not to be able to attend his anti American, racist Church.

They don%u2019t want a candidate that has a Muslim father.

They don%u2019t%u2019 want a candidate that can%u2019t win a debate

They don%u2019t%u2019 want a candidate that misleads the youth with an %u2018obama girl and her behind in their face%u201D

They don%u2019t want a candidate that says he%u2019s an African American and missed the MLK Remembrance Day and the Louisianna Black Caucus meeting
They don%u2019t want a candidate that has done nothing for humanity except talk about it.

They dont'' want a candidate named; Barack Hussein Obama

He scares them to death.
He is embarrassing.
He is unelectable.

The word "liberal" has lost its meaning in the political world thanks to its overuse as a smear by radical conservative Republicans. Here are highlights from Random House''s long definition: "favorable to progress or reform...free from bigotry; tolerant." Seems to me like a tag that many Americans - Dem or Repub - would wear proudly if they knew what it really meant.

Any one who cannot endorse, and support their party leader, has no business being in the party.

My family is in OK, and I can tell you that these kind of shenanigans do not sit well. Either endorse and support, or do not endorse and do not support.
