Obama Picks Up Another Superdelegate
Barack Obama's effort to woo superdelegates with a trip to the House of Representatives this morning appears to have already paid off.
Previously undeclared superdelegate Rep. Brad Miller, D-N.C., said that he would cast his vote at the Democratic convention for the Illinois senator.
Miller made his decision after meeting with Obama in Washington today.
"Senator Obama understands that he has the chance not just to win the election this year, but to be a great president," Miller wrote in his announcement.

I will cast my vote as a delegate in Denver for Senator Barack Obama. The decision was not easy. Senator Clinton has run an impressive campaign, and has spoken eloquently to the concerns to working and middle class American families. She is one of the great leaders of this generation.
Senator Obama understands that he has the chance not just to win the election this year, but to be a great president. Americans know that Republican policies have failed because their ideas are wrong. Americans know that our government has not acted to use Franklin Roosevelt’s words, as trustees for the whole people, but have taken the side of powerful economic interests on every issue. Americans want a fundamental change in course.
Senator Obama seized that opportunity.
If Senator Obama and Democratic candidates up and down the ticket win this year and then deliver next year, we can build a consensus that will last a generation.

Obama has been 100 times more respectful to Hillary and her supporters then she has been to him and his supporters. Her supporters are salt of the earth good ol'' hard working joes while Obama''s supporters are characterized as latte-sipping elitists or ignorant blacks who would vote for any black candidate. Also Barrack has gone out of his way to NOT declare himself the winner and to say that Hillary has the right to stay in as long as she wants while she comes up with jaw-dropping metrics to declare herself the winner when she has obviously LOST. And how could you possibly believe that to count the votes in FL and especially MI is fair at all? Per agreement BO took his name off the ballot while Hill conveniently didn''t. I admire not quitting but I draw the line at cheating. Your cheating divisive candidate lost and now you spew your ignorance on this board. Yes we want your vote but stop your crying you big baby.

I am grateful for the letter you sent about sitting the Florida and Michigan Delegates. That is not a problem; however, let''s wait until the contests are over and that all the superdelegates move in my favor. Then I will give you all the delegates you want and more. As you may not know, the race is over and it will be only be fair to you to stop indebting yourself. However, should you want me to help repay you debt, I will be glad to organize a worldwide fundraising campaign and the issue will be resolved. In the meantime, keep on fighting. I have to stop here. But please remember Hillary will get ALL her money back, because its a LOAN; you however will only have your memories and a smaller bank balance.
