Democratic House Candidate Seeks Distance From Obama

An ad by Republican Greg Davis in Mississippi made news earlier this week because of its use of the controversy surrounding Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

The ad from Davis, who is battling Democrat Travis Childers in a special election in the state’s 1st Congressional district linked Childers to Obama – and Wright. “When Obama’s pastor cursed America, blaming us for 9/11, Childers said nothing," the ad claimed. "When Obama ridiculed rural folks for clinging to guns and religion, Childers said nothing. Travis Childers – he took Obama’s endorsement over our conservative values. Conservatives just can’t trust Travis Childers.”

Childers attacked the ad and today began running one of his own. “This campaign has been one for the books,” Childers says in the ad. “My family has heard the lies and attacks linking me to politicians I don’t know and have never met. But keep this in mind: I’ve never raised taxes, Greg Davis has. I don’t have a taxpayer-funded car, Greg Davis does. I’m pro-life and pro-gun. I’m Travis Childers and I approve this message because I’ll do on Congress what I’ve done in Mississippi – work with both parties, balance budgets and create jobs.” Watch it:

I was impressed with the way Hillary handled the tough questions from Bill O''Reilley. She is sure the leader to be President of this Great Nation.
Hillary knows what it needs to take this country move forward. She provided her pretinent detail plans in a short time during the inverview with Bill. That''s show she is with substance and intelligent.
GO HILLARY!

IT IS QUITE OBVIOUS THAT WOMEN FAVOR CLINTON AND BLACKS FAVOR OBAMA, LETS NOT DENY THAT. WHO FAVORS INTELLIGENCE, CREDIBILITY, AND EXPERIANCE? --THOSE WHO FAVOR MCCAIN...AND THERE CERTAINLY ARE ALOT OF WOMEN AND BLACKS WHO SEE THAT, TOO. FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE THINGS WILL "CHANGE" --DAY ONE-- IF A DEMOCRAT WERE ELECTED SHOULD KNOW THAT WITH A DEMOCRAT DAY ONE MIGHT CHANGE SOMETHING AND THAT SOMETHING IS: HIGHER TAXES, GREATER SECURITY RISK, UNACCEPTABLE HEALTH INSURANCE, AND A WEAKER ECONOMY- NOT A STRONGER ONE- ( HOW CAN BE IT STRONGER IF YOU HAVE TO PAY HIGHER TAXES IN 2008-20012? THIS ISN''''T THE 1990''''S- TIME TO GET OVER THAT FACT ) IF VOTING FOR CLINTON OR OBAMA SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER OR RACE OR THINKING THEY ARE THE ANSWERS TO ALL OF YOUR PROBLEMS YOU ARE IN FOR A VERY RUDE AWAKENING. SORRY.

Check out the donation call on DailyKos.com; Ben Chandler took some heat for supporting Rev. Wright and in one day almost $20,000.00 in donations have been sent to him.

So now HRC does not have to testify in the campaign fraud case against Bill that also implicates her--until AFTER the November elections? So says the judge who appears to not want the story about Hillary and this fraud to taint her bid for the Presidency. But why not? We don''''t need another Clinton impeachment when we find out what a lying fraud who stole money that she really is (they''''ve got VIDEO and the tape of her voice --Hilterly supporters!!)

Is this like Rezko? Nope--Rezko involved Obama''''s association with a questionable person. This involved HRC and Bill''''s questionable actions (and potentially illegal actions) with a questionable person. Big difference.

Obama''''s could harm his campaign, Hillary''''s could land her before a Grand jury and like DeLay--facing jail time: http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/tal

The media does not have a life and they feel that they need to breathe into their twisted stories to see what they can get from the viewers-this is getting old! -and I would not be surprised if the Clinton campaign isn%u2019t looking all over the world to find some hint of negativity to feed to the media on Obama so they themselves can stay on this hell bent of a race. This was supposed to be Hilary''s big dream- like she has every right to be entitled the Whitehouse throne. She prays on hate from us and then says she fighting for us. Like we are her little soldiers trying to help her stick it to Obama, and this is ok? She is the elitist with her own agenda, and we-as a whole have nothing to do with this but help her appoint her to her "seat." I was for her, not anymore. Go on the U-tube and watch the Peter Paul vs. Hilary Clinton story part one and two. I million viewed already-no wonder everyone hates her. You would never believe it. It will open your eyes to those who are still asleep in Hilary and Bill Bubba gum land. We as people are way to smart for the media and Hilary Clinton. If the media wants a story-that is what they should harping on, the Peter Paul story.

You people in the media are disgusting. Distancing? You all are doing nothing except trying to grab headlines and increase ratings. You have beaten the Jeremiah Wright story to death. And me thinks few people give a *** about it. It was completely media driven. You all like a horse race and will do anything to anybody to get it. The media and Clinton deserve each other. You are cut with the same mold.

I am not sure saying you don''t know some one or have not met them is "distancing yourself".

The attack ad is clearly a hit piece and typical for the "swift boater" Rep. machine. I am sure we will see endless variations of it. The politics of fear are dead, some simply don''t know it yet.

If how a campaign is run is any indication of how the candidate will run the country, Obama is the clear choice and we will all be in for better days if he is elected. Clinton and McCain have periodically gone broke and had to borrow money to stay afloat.

My vote is for Obama.

Democrat distances himself from Presidential frontrunner whom Media has spent months claiming was the twin of a wacky pastor who can''t stand Obama''s guts.

Next up: in celebration of Islamofascism month, Ann Coulter has a new book.
