N.C. Governor: Hillary Makes Rocky Look Like “Pansy”

(CBS)

From CBS News’ Fernando Suarez:

RALEIGH, N.C. – “This lady right here makes Rocky Balboa look like a pansy,” said Governor Mike Easley, D-N.C., today, referring to Hillary Clinton. “There’s nothing I love more than a strong powerful woman.”

Clinton accepted a key endorsement from Easley today, as she struggles to stay alive in this nomination contest. She is down in the polls in both North Carolina and Indiana, so any political victory is a big one.

“I am thrilled to accept his endorsement,” she said. “Of course, it’s politically very meaningful but even more than that, it is great to have someone who really understands what we have to do to transform our country.”

Although Easley did not mention Barack Obama by name, he implied that his decision was based on the fact that Clinton has more experience to be commander-in-chief. “There’s a lot ‘yes we can’ and ‘yes we should’ going around,” Easley told the crowd gathered in a small conference room at North Carolina State University, referring to Obama’s campaign slogan. “Hillary Clinton is ready to deliver, that’s the difference. She is ready to deliver today!”

“I never, never thought the United States of America could get in as much trouble as we have over the last seven or eight years,” Easley continued. “It’s going to take somebody special. Somebody smart, somebody who understands it, somebody who has experience to get in there, turn it around immediately and she can do that.”

Clinton stayed in North Carolina this morning in order to accept the endorsement. She is headed to Indiana where she will campaign over the next few days.

More of Obama,

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US f rom the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!

This is Obama too.

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim
terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is
politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in
the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of
Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind
that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but
instead the Koran.

Before you put Hillary down look at Obama,
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor
will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over
their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches. Do you want
someone like this as your PRESIDENT?
This was shown in a picture in a paper and on TV.

Easley stepped over the line with his "pansy" comment. I can''t wait to see him go. There''s a reason that all of the other NC supers have gone for Obama - they have sense, they understand where this state is headed, and they are (ahem) actually up for re-election.

I wonder if one of Obama''s backers had made such an openly homophobic statement how it would be playing out in the news cycle right now. Interesting that Hillary doesn''t need to "reject and denounce" any of the offensive things her friends and associates say. Yipes.

Ducking a debate, he and the company are losing the endorsement of the governor and possibly all the delegates of Edwards, and North Carolina. What is OBAMA''s judgment about?

Here is a war, a recession, tornado, floods... and among many other serious problems, we don''t have to believe a thing, simply because someone says "I am the change, I am the future." If the character and ties are in question, we don''t have to believe it.

No matter how OBAMA and company cut it, it merely sound Wright and Wright is wrong. They are hiding something when they are telling everything that people wants to hear, but always backpedals and chanting to us the same slogan. Man! No wins are alike. The most important is the next one.

He and his company suggests to split the delegates of Florida and Michigan as if no votes are casted. It is people''s ballot and people''s constitutional right against the stupid party rules. You don''t need to take your name off the ballot, stupid. It is just your own deplorable judgment. The votes are there, we are not doing against the people unless you want to start the election with 48 states; without two very important swing states. If any campaign can stop revote like this, it doesn''t worth your support.

Do not make up new rules saying that superdelegates cannot vote against the will of their state. Look at Pelosi (California), Brad Henry (Ok), John Kerry & Ted Kennedy (Ma.) Bill Richardson (New Mexico) & more., you aren''t telling but spitting our face with nonsense.

It''s amazing that people think she''s ready to deliver... ready to deliver what? the same stuff that her husband did? they were an embarrassment to the White House, their back door dealings, their down and dirty politics that we''re now seeing. Don''t forget, there are plenty of advisors to tell her what to do... she doesn''t make the decisions herself, don''t let her kid you.
