Clinton Campaign Accuses Obama of Ducking Debates

From CBS News’ Allison O'Keefe:

Accusing Barack Obama of trying to “duck” a debate in North Carolina with Hillary Clinton, her state director in North Carolina ripped into Obama on a conference call with reporters today. "Obama wanted to brush off the people of North Carolina," said Ace Smith, referring to the video of Obama brushing off his shoulders yesterday when talking about Wednesday night's ABC News debate.

Smith took Obama's campaign slogans of “hope,” “change,” and “turn the page,” and used them to illustrate why they believe Obama does not want to participate in a North Carolina debate. Obama is "hoping for no more tough questions, hoping for no more debates," according to Smith, and that he wants to "change the channel, change the topic," as well as wanting to "turn the page, because there is a scary picture."

Smith dismissed the notion that one of Obama's reasons for not agreeing to this debate is that he agreed to one in North Carolina on a different date. That is a bogus argument, Smith said, because the debate referenced by Obama was not sanctioned by the Democratic Party and was set for the first evening of Passover.

Gov. Mike Easley, D-N.C, is urging Obama to participate in the debate, and Smith says 20,000 people in North Carolina have already requested tickets. "This is important to the voters of North Carolina," said Smith. "I don't understand how you can run for President and not answer tough questions." The CBS News debate is scheduled for Sunday, April 27th, at 8:00 pm, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Clinton campaign also announced today that she has accepted the invitation for two debates in Indiana, and said they hope Obama will accept as well. "I know Senator Obama was complaining throughout the day about the tough questions he got,” said Howard Wolfson, a Clinton campaign spokesman. "It's obviously very easy to give an eloquent speech, but it’s harder to stand in front of questioners and take tough questions, and that's part of the process too."

The Obama camp responded by turning the focus to campaigning, rather than debating. "There have been 21 Democratic debates and four one-on-one debates with Senator Clinton, all televised nationally," said Bill Burton, an Obama spokesman. "Our focus will be on meeting with voters in Indiana and hearing directly from them. We will make a decision about debates shortly."

Senator Obama didn''t like how he debated on April 16 so he is afraid of coming out badly again. This is his same fear-based logic for denying the do-overs in Florida and Michigan. If he can''t stand the heat, he should drop out. He is ruining our chances for a Democrat to win the White House in November. His whining is unflattering and his brush-off is priggish.

Associated Press got this right:

"''We were both asked some pretty tough questions and that''s part of what happens in a debate and in a campaign, and I know he spent all day yesterday complaining about the hard questions he was asked,'' Clinton said, although Obama did not complain about the difficulty of the questions, just the substance."

Even a planted Clinton supporter moderator will not derail Obama. Big yawn. Hilly will not have anymore free publicity -she will have to actually convince people to donate to her laughable campaign -which those funds will go directly to pat off her debts.

Obama isn''t going to be indicted. But hmmm, the Clintons are already under investigation in California for some *** they pulled. Opednews.com is a joke. The term "mafia" wasn''t used literally but it appears tha jrysk doesn''t understand that. And ERoosevelt, they have already debated 21 times. How many more times will it take for Billary and her supporters to finally accept the fact that she is losing and won''t get the nomination? Even Bill Clinton''s former cabinet members are supporting Obama and the new Newsweek poll out today shows that the Dems now favor Obama over Clinton and view him as the person to beat McCain. So Clintonistas just get over it. She did it to herself: she ran a lousy campaign (which is probably indicative of how she would run the country), LIED repeatedly, and focused on nitpicky stuff instead of the real issues. She has no one to blame but herself and her feeling of entitlement.

Former Clinton Cabinet member, 2 Ex-Senators Endorse Obama

By GLEN JOHNSON, Associated Press Writer
1 hour, 18 minutes ago

Note: Negative Hillary did this to Herself, he gains everytime she thinks shes made some ground !!

BOSTON - Former Clinton Cabinet member Robert Reich on Friday endorsed Barack Obama over Hillary Rodham Clinton in the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Two other Democratic elder statesmen, former Sens. Sam Nunn of Georgia and David Boren of Oklahoma, also said they were supporting the Illinois senator.

Reich, who served as Labor secretary under Bill Clinton, said in a blog post that "although Hillary Clinton has offered solid and sensible policy proposals, Obama''''s strike me as even more so."

Reich also said Obama''''s plans for reforming Social Security and health care have a better chance of succeeding, and his approach to the nation''''s housing crisis and financial market failures are sounder than the New York senator''''s.

A number of other former Clinton cabinet members have endorsed Obama.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who was U.N. ambassador and energy secretary under Clinton, endorsed former rival Obama in March despite heavy wooing by the former president.

Former Denver Mayor Federico Pena, who headed the transportation and energy departments under Clinton, became a co-chair of Obama''''s campaign last September. Former Clinton Commerce secretaries Norman Mineta and William Daley also have endorsed Obama.

Obama, You can RUN, You can HIDE, but you can not be a presidential candidate unless you answer the tough questions.

We Americans deserve answers to all those questions asked in the last debate about Obama''s dubious relationships with men who hate or *** America, after all he is being considered for the Presidency of the United States of America and whoever is elected will be the Commander in Chief responsible for the security of our country. We didn''t get clear answers and we will continue to ask the tough questions, but in our mind the main question still remains:
DOES OBAMA LOVE OR HATE AMERICA ?

Obamas Laughing at Hillary and her Sad A!! Campaign !!

A group of prominent Pennsylvania Jews endorsed U.S. Sen. Barack Obama in advance of the state''''s April 22 primary.

In a letter to the state''''s Jewish community, about 60 Jewish supporters of Obama, including some politicians, rabbis and community leaders, dismissed concerns raised about the candidate''''s commitment to Israel, praised his response to the controversial statements of his pastor and urged them to support the Illinois lawmaker in the Democratic primary.

Among the signatories were two Jewish Pennsylvania legislators -- Reps. Josh Shapiro and Daylin Leach.

"Senator Obama has earned our respect and gratitude because of his support for traditional Jewish values and his commitment to a peaceful and prosperous Israel," the letter said.

The letter also lauded Obama''''s recent speech in which he repudiated the views of his controversial pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., and compared support for Obama to Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel''''s famous description of marching for civil rights in Selma as "praying with his feet."

"We have each chosen to pray with our feet and stand with Barack Obama because he is sensitive to the issues of the Jewish community and a stalwart supporter of Israel," the letter said.

Ducking debates? You have got to be kidding me Mrs Clinton. I can count two occasions now that Senator Clinton asked for a debate and Senator Obama most graciously accepted. I do believe the American people deserve to get a better understanding of the democratic candidates, but if you havent made up your mind yet, you might just be slow. Hillary Clinton asserting that Obama is :ducking debates" is absurd. I just can''t wait for her to just drop out of the race, so a democrat will be our next president.

And it is this do anything for power that scares me more than anything

It is people like that who get this country in Trouble

Just look at the almost cynical way she has her husband play attack dog against Senator Obama, while denying any connection to his statements.

Take a look at the fact that Both Bill and Hillary MAKE TONS OF BUCKS from their extensive involvement with Dubai.

Why is that bad?

Dubai deals in major commerce and shipping point for the "business-side" of terrorism.

Bill and Hilary are major friends of Dubai, to the point where the Clinton Foundation have established Dubai Study departments in universities in the US and London.

They worked hard at granting legitimacy to this Jew-hating, Terrorist supporting nation."

Other FOBs including disgraced former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, Ex-Secretary of State Madeline Albright

Al and Tipper Gore - have attended highly publicized events there. Republican ex-Sen. Bob Dole

No one is as involved as to the extent of the Clintons.

Clinton makes $10 million a year from Yucaipa a Dubai firm.

Obama''s done how many debates? And if he skips one, he''s "ducking" them because he''s afraid.

The shame of it is that it was the most even-handed debate to date. Perhaps the questions themselves could have been different, but finally the kid gloves were taken off for Obama and the candidates were given some equal treatment. That is called fair play. The Obama camp almost seems like it is pouting. If Clinton were behaving that way after all the debates where she has been lambasted, the sexist remarks would prevail. The bigger problem though is that Obama appears to not be able to take it, threatening to debate no more. As though the Republicans will give him that choice. Moreover, his followers believe that any questioning of their leader is heresy.

Hillary Clinton has certainly vetted herself well recently:
as a liar, (dodging bullets in Bosnia),
a cheater,(trying to change the rules in FL & MI after signing an agreement to honor them),
and now as a hypocrite, (calling Obama an elitist when she''s one herself).
I think the super delegates are seeing her as she really is and that''s why they''re still moving to Obama''s side.
BTW, The NRA sent me a letter including a list of anti-gun politicians. Hillary Clinton was on the list, Obama was not. It seems strange that she is now posing as a gun rights advocate trying to get votes in rural Pennsylvania. Now she says Obama should quit complaining about the debate - she must have a short memory, it wasn''t that long ago that she was complaining about another debate. It is just two more examples of her hypocrisy.

I believe "accuse" is the word we need to look at here. Per the usual Clinton stomp and grind, they are once again and forever on the attack. Obama has met with them repeatedly, I personally see no reason for him to go back into another debate that does nothing but allow Clinton the opportunity to avoid real issues. In case the Clinton campaign organizers and the Clinton''s themselves have not noticed, no one wants to watch her lie and manipulate any longer. I am hopeful that there are enough Americans out there that see through the Clinton scam to get this over quickly.

Listen to Obama - it is not that he can''t handle the tough questions. He''s just disgusted with having to answer them 100 times - questions that too often have little to do with the critical issues facing this country.

I still don''t think it''s inappropriate to ask Clinton about her character and judgement in the handling of her husband''s many illicit affairs. If my husband cheated on me multiple times, he wouldn''t be my husband any more. It''s not the sign of a strong, principled woman to me.

No more debates please. Imagine what the reaction would be if Obama really took Hillary on as she has done! That is what she wants. People do not like to see men attacking women. It would not help him. It is very frustrating for her not having Obama fall into the "bait trap." Many of us know how he could counter-punch; thank goodness he doesn''t. By reminding people of "DISTRAACTIONS" he is also framing the general election. NOT THIS TIME hopefully will people let issues of GUNS, RELIGION, CLASS etc distract from the issues that affect all of us and that we can effect throug our vote concerning the economy, foreign policy, global warming, water shortage, food shortage, energy, etc. For me as one man said on TV "even if they brough a man off the street" I would vote Democratic!!! Look at what the Republican party has done the last 8 years. Think BLACKWATER, think discussing how much "torturing" is acceptable (this in the White House itself)! People NOT THIS TIME will we work against our best interests. I want: healthcare, better schools, saving our planet, helping and elevating the poor here and around the world, making sure nuclear weaponds stays away from fanatics, etc. Since 9/11 we have let ourselves become fearfull! Enough --- we are awakening -- the young are motivated. Change comes from the bottom upwards --- it has always been so. If OBAMA doesn''t win the nomination for the democratic party -- then hell yes my vote goes to HILLARY!

OBAMA is standing in front of the camera himself for 52 seconds explaining how he will disarm the USA.

What we are talking about here IS NOT about politics and the differing
views concerning issues.....this is about the potential literal destruction of
this country by our enemies and our inability to defend ourselves against those
attacks.

This is a very short (52 seconds) video by Barak Obama in his own words

When I first saw the recently released Indonesian translation of Barack Obama''s
book "The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming The American Dream", over
here in Southeast Asia I was completely taken aback not only by the violent
imagery in new title of the book, "Menerjang Harapan: Dari Jakarta Menuju Gedung
Putih", but by the fact that it was not really a translation at all, but rather
a completely different title than the original book. For the native Indonesian
speaker, this figurative language creates a mental image whereas the translation
of the book''s title can actually come to mean "Jihad: From Jakarta To The
Whitehouse". Why would the publishers drastically change the title of the book
for the Indonesian translation and make use of such figurative language? Your
guess is as good as mine, but it would seem that Barack Obama is quite
interested with promoting himself in Southeast Asia as a crusader for the cause
of Indonesia''s Muslims.

Their AGENDA: (excerpt)

At this point, Hillary is becoming a joke rather than legitimate consideration for anything. How many times can you attack the same guy and NEVER winning, go back and tear him apart again? there is NOTHING to any of these debates. We learn much more about how he can lead us and help us as americans when he speaks directly to us rather than by the idiotic sound bite questions laced in flag pins and ratings -- than watching her try to beat him up. I see a correlation with Nero here, Hillary the she-Nero and her ''people'' are the frenzied blood thirsty citizens of Rome - watching the carnage at the coliseum....hmmmm

Obama, is arrogant and thinks he is above it all. He really does not have a clue
what white America is all about. He has surrounded himself with radicals and
racist and attending a church for 20 years that is dedicated to Black Africa.
His preacher is stuck in the 50%u2019s preaching hate and racial divide. And after
reading
Michelles%u201D thesis (they tried to get off the internet) she has always had a chip
on her shoulder, even though affirmative action got her to Princeton.

Obama is not for all Americans.

This video says it all:

Obama aka Barry Soetoro is scary as hell, we really don''t know enough about him to turn over the reigns of our country to him.
He has too many radical associates. And has told us so many lies, he is a Trojan Horse, and will destroy our country.
