Clinton's April Fools Joke

(CBS)
From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:

PHILADELPHIA - Following a speech before hundreds of labor union members, the press was told Hillary Clinton would hold a press conference. The press sat patiently for Clinton to finish shaking hands with supporters in the other room. Within minutes, a somber looking Clinton approached the podium, her equally morose looking staff stood nearby.

“I want to take a moment to say that this has been a very hard fought race. Each of us is drawing enormous support. We clearly need to do something so that our party and the people can make the right decision,” Clinton said. At this point many in the press thought Clinton might drop the bomb that she is calling it quits in the race. But it soon became clear that Clinton was only joking.

“Today I am challenging Senator Obama to a bowl off, a bowling night, right here in Pennsylvania winner take all,” said Clinton as the press chuckled.

“I will even spot him 2 frames. It’s time for his campaign to get out of the gutter and allow all of the pins to be counted. I am prepared to play this game all the way to 10th frame. And when this game is over the America people will know when that phone rings at 3am they will have a president who will be able to bowl on day one so let’s strike a deal and go bowling for delegates. We don’t have a moment to spare, because it’s already April Fools Day, so happy April Fools Day everybody.”

This isn’t the first time Clinton has addressed the press in a tongue-in-cheek fashion. A few months ago Clinton unveiled her campaign airplane as "Hill Force One" saying, “Welcome to Hill-Force One. FAA regulations prohibit the use of any cell phones, blackberries and/or wireless devices that may be used to transmit a negative story about me. Now in a few minutes," she continued, "I am going to switch off the fasten your seatbelt sign, however, I've learned lately that things can get awfully bumpy when you least expect it, so you might want to keep those seatbelts fastened."

Indeed, Clinton is like Rocky!

She keeps getting beat up by both Democratic back stabbers and the news media alike. We have realized that Clinton lied about her Bosnia trip, but we also know that Obama has lied about:

1) his relationship with the LUNETIC RACIST Rev. Wright
2) his involvment with the crook Tony Rezko
3) his association with the self-proclaimed Pentagon TERRORIST William C. Ayers
4) his note about his father''s arrival in the US due to Kennedy
5) his taking hundreds of thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$ from lobyists

WHAT IS IT GONG TO TAKE FOR AMERICA TO FIGURE OUT OBAMA IS A RACIST, BIGGOT, AND ANTI-SEMITIC?

DO WE HAVE TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID WITIH GEORGE BUSH?

REMEMBER IF WE HAD SLECTED GORE, WE WOULD NOT BE IN THE IRAQ MESS?

Come on people, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need someone like Hillary to fight for us the same way she is fighing for the nomination.

I love it when she puts the press and media in their place, even as they are continually propping up Obama with pillows and foot massage!

You hit the nail on the head--he''s the media''s baby--they do not cease to prop him up with pillows and foot massage--while Hillary, Older and also a Woman, is by far the Stronger and More Capable--and yes really, the more genuinely personable, too.
Barack Hussein is a smooth-talkin manipulator and was bred by the corrupt Cook County political machine

You said it right. Barrack has been propped by the media. Woman is a fair game- they can say anything, but black man is beyond reproach. I have lost respect for many of the big name media people.

hussein is so devoid of creative thought he had to steal the campaign ideas of John Edwards on healthcare, poverty and nuclear proliferation and try to pass them off as his own; and now he even has to plagiarize the hollow platitudes that constitute his pompous gas-bag speeches. What a truly pathetic character!

The United States - and the world - have suffered greatly from having a president who has, essentially, been brain-dead from drugs and booze for most of his adult life and who totally lacked the knowledge and experience to handle such an important job. The running of the country and the setting of national policy has consequently reverted to a megalomaniac vice president, who never has been challenged by the "official" president, for obvious reasons.

One would think that Americans have had enough of this type of government. Apparently not - given the misguided interest by some in hussein.

The supporters of this low-IQ type, who is brain-impaired from extensive drug use and is equally lacking in knowledge and experience, should realize that they are repeating history. They should ask themselves one very important question: If hussein were, god-forbid, elected president, who would actually run the country? Who would be hussein''s Cheney? Would it be oprah or jeremiah "God Da''mn America" wright?

I really wish that this were serious. It is time for the Clinton campaign to decide what is the criterion for winning- votes? delegates? primaries alone? primaries in states where Bill won in 1992? states with the fewest vowels? Bowling for dlelegates makes as much sense sa anything else we have heard from camp Clnton recently. Really, it was funny. I hope there is a place for her on Saturday Night Live when this over, because it has become progressively harder to take her seriously.

Looks like Hillary is trying to evoke that human quality known as humor from the from the National Security question mark known as Obama. Think he can understand, or will he continue to exhibit his usual sexist phobia and pander to the guilt side voter''s about his disadvantages.

Not a bad one, BUT she is not getting the bigger april fool joke, thrown at Hillary months ago. .....And that is sombody must have told her jokingly that she is still the winner of this nomination after 11 conineous primary losses. Prettymuch rest of the world got it but she is still not getting it....well she is a bigger fool than those who got the joke already.

OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency today reports that the Wright, Jr., long-time pastor of Obama, published an op-ed piece signed by a Hamas leader. The item appeared in the July 22, 2007 edition of his Trinity United Church newspaper on the "Pastor''s Page." Justifies attacks on Israeli civilians, and carries a supporting introduction by Mr. Wright.

Obama issued a statement strongly condemning these views of his pastor. "I certainly wasnt in church when that outrageously wrong [Hamas] piece was re-printed in the bulletin.

Obama is a long-time member of Trinity United, and his financial contributions to his church are reported to be substantial ("All told, the [Obama] couple gave $27,500 to [Trinity United] in 2005 and 2006," according to the New York Times of March 26). His moral support to the church has been unwavering. As more and more and more details of the extremist political positions of the church are revealed, Obamas response has been to distance himself from these, but also to repeat, over and over, that he didn''t know, that he wasn''t there.

I find it very difficult to believe that an intelligent, energetic, and very political man like Obama is perpetually ignorant about what goes on in the church to which he devotes so many of his resources. If he does get to the White House....

Hillary has a keen intellect combined with the ability to be decisive and put thought into action within the context of the big picture. IOW, she has the experience and the skill set to do the job in a manner that would make us all proud and restore some credability to the office and to the country. Let Obama be VP and learn the ropes at a safe distance and then he can take over when he is fully prepared.

Black or white fallacy: When subject is presented with just two options and told those are the only two options.

Truth: there are unlimited possibilities. An independent could win our hearts. Paul supporters could start a revolution.

What''s wrong with you people. Thank God someone still has a sense of humor. I applaud Senator Clinton for lightening things up a bit, laughing at herself sometimes and challenging Obama to a freindly competiton. I think it speaks well for someone who has nearly been crucified and beheaded in the press. In the long run, Hillary will be fine win or lose. She''s got a nice cushy life to return to. What have you got?

obama8years-It is hard to believe that he did not know the basic teachings of his church. However, I do find a bit of arrogance and an "in your face" attitude about the man. Another thing is, any criticism of him is met with cries of racism. So, he just goes on doing what he wants and the msm shields him. Some guy, the empty suit.

I really do not want McCain in the White House. He''s just like Bush, so we''ll get more war, more craziness, and no help with the economy or the things we average josies need. We are in dire straits! We need someone really really smart and really really capable AND someone who is courageous enough to make big changes in the way we are now doing things. My money and my vote is with Obama.

Hillary is o.k., but she lies too much, and she lied about a team-member so she could be the star. That''s creepy. (Bad judgment too.) Makes us Dems not want to support her.

Obama gave a press conference today also. He said that from this day forth he would be a man of action not just pretty speeches to adoring fans. He would leave his racist church and sever all ties with Rev. Wright who hates white people and America. He would quit playing the race card every time unpleasant press comes his way. He vows to acknowledge that he really has no experience that has prepared him for the presidency he just knows he''s a rock star and women swoon when in his presence. He reminded everyone how Barbara Walters is an example of this when he was on the View. He figured that he could parlay this effect he has on people into votes. He acknowledged he was going to try for American Idol until Oprah talked him into running for President as she will be in a better position to control how we live our lives if he''s in the White House. He promised that he and Michelle are going to take a deprogramming course to let go of their anger and resentment towards the white race. He ended his press conference with a big smile, a pause and a big "April Fools".

HILLARY CLINTON - READY TO LIE ON DAY ONE !!!!

First she denies that she was pro NAFTA. White House schedules have now been released, showing she held several high profile meetings to endorse NAFTA.

Second she tells outright lies about her bullet dodging trip to Bosnia.

Hillarys problem is that voters know how easily the Clintons lie. Next she will say well, it depends on how you define "sniper fire" and "ran" and then %u201CI DID NOT HAVE MILITARY RELATIONS WITH THAT SNIPER%u201D

Misspeaking is one thing, repeating it over and over makes it a FLAT LIE !!
Clinton simply cannot help herself.
She tells a big lie when a small lie will do. And she tells a small lie when the truth will do.
Look at the trouble the country is in because of the lies of President Bush so God help America if this woman ever gets elected.

She cannot win the Democratic nomination without causing a civil war in the Democratic Party. While comparing herself to, and praising, McCain while undermining Obama, make it appear that she is willing to do just that -- split the party in two. Seriously, can you imagine McCain saying that that he had a lifetime of experience, Hillary had a lifetime of experience, but Romney didn''t? That would never happen. It''s unacceptable. And it has to stop.

I get that it sucks to lose. But, it happens. Hillary, drop out with your head up high. Unless of course you''re ducking sniper fire again

Here is a reminder of why people are reluctant to have the Clintons back in the White House:

President Clinton is a disbarred laywer.
Most convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates.
Most cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation.
Most witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify.
Most witnesses to die suddenly.
First president sued for sexual harassment.
First president accused of rape.
The first time a First Lady has come under criminal investigation.
Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case.
First president to establish a legal defense fund.
First president to be held in contempt of court.
Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad.
First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a State Court.

Oh !! Now I remember why we don%u2019t want the Clintons back, they simply lie or %u201Cmisspeak%u201D far too easily.
Its time for a genuine change in our politics.
