Clinton Spokesman Mimics Talk Show Host, Calls Obama Camp "Amateur Hour"

(CBS)
From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:

During an hour long conference call with reporters, Hillary Clinton campaign deputy communications director Phil Singer cited a laundry list of issues why the Obama campaign, he claims, is deceiving the American people including lack of transparency with the press over personal records, a questionable relationship with an indicted landowner in Chicago, even Obama's opposition on the Michigan and Florida re-vote saying “it’s no wonder that Americans are coming to see that for all the rhetoric, for all the speeches, his candidacy is really just words.”

But what really sent Singer into a frenzy on the call were allegations that the breach in security regarding Obama’s passport was linked to the Clinton campaign.

"We will not tolerate being tied to this and we find it reckless and, frankly, desperate when we heard on the 'Today Show' this morning, discussion that the Obama campaign was trying to tie this situation to us. Well, while we understand that they are feeling a little nervous about their current political situation, the current context of their campaign, we don't think that is appropriate.”

Singer went on to jab the Obama campaign saying that “it’s no wonder why top journalists are going onto morning shows calling the Obama campaign ‘desperate’ and that it is ‘amateur hour in Chicago.’” Singer later attributed those comments to MSNBC’s Morning Joe host, Joe Scarborough.

Despite Singer’s strong words, there has been no proof that the Clinton campaign had anything to do with the security breach. In fact, both Clinton’s and John McCain's passport info was also breached.

During the call, Singer reiterated Clinton’s call on Obama to support a re-vote in Michigan and Florida, saying that leaving out these two states will hurt the Democratic nominee’s chances in the general election. “There needs to be a solution to the situation in Michigan and Florida which insures that voters there are able to participate, that they are counted in this process and that they aren’t disenfranchised,” said Singer, “With a war to end, with an economy to fix, with so many other challenges facing our country right now, we can’t afford to let the Obama campaign’s political needs get in the way of delivering solutions to the issues we are facing as a nation.”

As the campaign continues to tighten and as recent national polls have shown an upward trend for Clinton’s campaign, the rhetoric between the campaigns remains heated. The Clinton campaign has been on the defensive following Super Tuesday, when Obama dominated the political spectrum with 11 straight victories in the run-up to the March 4 Ohio and Texas primaries. Now, after winning those two states and with polls showing Clinton leading Obama in the upcoming Pennsylvania primary on April 22nd, the campaign tone has become more aggressive.

“The Obama campaign is in political hot water given the news stories over the last several weeks and is basically desperate to change the subject. They are seeing the ground shift away from them," said Singer.

Clinton Campaign Divorced From Reality!!

Get the straight jacket and padded bus ready for Clinton. By the sounds of this, for her campaign managers as well! As they get closer to realizing they have lost, pure lunacy is settling in, and spreading.

Governor Richardson,

Today I am ashamed to say that I held you in high esteem as a man, a politician and as a person.

However, your endorsement of the unpatriotic, race baiting, un-Christian and poor judgment led (Rezko, state appointments, suspect earmarks and REV. WRIGHT) Barack Obama makes me question your judgment.

The Obama campaign has race baited since Iowa and all of us in the African American community know it.

In addition, 20 years of attending and being under the mantle of the ministry of an American hater tells me that Obama lacks judgment for leading this country.

Were you threatened like the CBC members who were told they would lose their seats by Jesse Jackson, Jr. if you did not endorse him? Or were you paid off like other superdelegates with contributions to your upcoming campaigns?

Either way you have joined the list of non-thinking Americans and shown all Americans that you like Obama talk of a new political order; however, you do not live the new order you speak.

I am ashamed of you, but maybe this is why your candidacy did not take off to Americans, they saw through you like I see thorough you now.

God Bless America

The Clinton campaign is pissed off because of Governer Richardson''s endorsement of Obama this morning. Clinton does not have a chance in this nomination anymore. She needs to step down and help unite the DFL.

Obama supporters are delusional. Obama may unfortunately get the nomination because he stacked up the delegate count before his dirty laundry got aired (courtesy of the press corp''s biased coverage) but he will lose the election.

No matter what ridiculous nonsense the Obama camp is spinning, it is perceived by the thinking public as childish and desperate - I mean, c''mon, a pic of Bill Clinton w/ Jeremiah Wright, how does that even compare to Obama''s 20 year association with Wright?

Obama tries to appear high and mighty but he is playing dirty politics as usual. I found it disgusting and hypocritical that he called Ferrraro a racist based on some impolitic but not far-from-the truth comments and yet all this time he was fraternizing with Wright. Then to link Ferraro to Wright. Unbelievable hypocrisy. Not to mention Rezko and Nafta.

I used to think Obama was just too inexperienced and with a few more years in the senate he might be a good candidate. Now I am just repulsed by his hypocrisy.

Speaking of amateur...check out the story Clinton is claiming about dodging bullets in Bosnia. A fact check was done by the WaPo by Michael Dobbs! Clinton got 4 pinocchios for her "story." NO ONE else on the trip with can remember dodging sniper fire. Seems that would be hard to forget!

Maybe we are delusional.... ?

In my deluded state it seems that we have an insurmountable delegate and popular vote lead and that Bill Richardson just turned away from his former allegiances and endorsed my candidate. In my delusional state of conciousness it appears that Clinton is ''pissing up a rope'' as for her chances to be nominated. How about you people... you ought to come in here to this ''reality delusion'' and have a go ! It''s actually very heartening !

Obama,
Why did you throw me under the bus? Why have you disowned your white heritage and called me a "typical white person"? I loved you and have given you nothing but support!! I do not understand how you could have lied to me all these years like you are lying to the American people now!!
Why don''t you get your B_lls back from Michelle and drop out because you will never win now that you have been exposed. Please Obama, if you repent from your wicked devisive ways and prove to the American people that you have learned from your terrible judgement and horrible mistakes maybe you can run again in 8 years.
Besides, now that you have offered Richardson a VP positon and he has endorsed you, betraying the voters in his state, the rest of the Superdelegates will now peel away in droves. You can never win the General election Obama!! Even by your foolish agenda to stop people from voting in MI and FL!!
Please come home Obama, maybe next time!!

Phil Singer, Mark Penn and Harold Wolfson all make comments and then try to attribute them to others - all we get from Hillary and her team is continuous dirt being thrown, do they not realise that Hillary has that many Skeletons in her closet!

But thankfully for American politics Barack Obama still has Dignity and he will not stoop as low as Hillary, Penn, Wolfson & Singer, - it is they that are Desperate and doing Desperate things, this is Destroying The Democratic Party and its November Election opportunity.

The Clinton spokesmen need to learn that you can''t go around shouting foul and asking to change rules you agreed to, just because you find it does not now suit your self interest!

It is time for Hillary and her Team to put The Party first just for Once and accept Truth & Reality and stand down from the race before it''s too late and Hillary is completely damaged politically, the members of the Party and Voter will Never forgive her.

I have been sitting back reading various blogs and I have to say, I am amazed how anyone could see Barack Obama as prejudice or having bigoted views for having an association with Rev. Wright. BARACK IS HALF WHITE, for God''s sake. Just as much white as black, so are you saying he hates himself? Secondly, everyone is so down on him about his association with Paster Wright, well Bill Clinton invited Wright to a White House breakfast which I''m sure, many pastors in America will never sit at a presidential breakfast UNLESS they are close friends or advisors with the president. So is that saying Bill Clinton is a bigot, too? Wright went to this breakfast before Obama was even a blip on the political radar screen. WHAT DOES ALL THIS SAY? To me, the whole Obama fiasco is bulls^&* and way over the top dramatics. The man is the best candidate for the job as president. If you really get past your superficiality, you will have to agree. He has weathered this dumb crisis and I have faith, he will think just as levelheaded in any crisis put before him as the United States of America''s next president.

Barack Obama a fine man and will make a great leader, if people are not so swallowed up in hate and ignorance that they cannot hear his wonderful message of hope.
I have friends and relatives, and yes, a pastor, whose opinions I do not always share, but you don%u2019t dump the baby out with the bathwater. Obama sat through wonderful inspiring speeches by Pastor Wright, the man who brought him to Jesus, and he rejected the comments he didn%u2019t agree with. But he didn%u2019t abandon him or his church. He understood where it came from. Pastor Wright is of an era where a black man had to step into the gutter to let a white man pass. Where %u2018Whites only%u2019 signs were everywhere. There is more; so much more. So many injustices, I think he can be forgiven, as the Lord forgives us all. And I am a white woman in my 70s.
Are there not people in your life you don%u2019t always agree with? Can we not have more understanding, more compassion. Being bi-racial, Barack Obama is in the position to see things from more than one side. He is not perfect. He is a human being, albeit a quality human being and he will make a wonderful President, and will bring change to the world. It would be a tragedy if we lost out on that.
I wish you a fair wind at your back, Mr. Obama.

It''s a new day and time to throw more petrol onto the fire that the Clinton camp set light to under Obama. All fuss, all swiftboat, all no self respect - that is what the Clinton campaign has become.

MI and FL can be seated but I tell you that despite whatever Obama says there will be voters in each state that would reject a) seating delegates as won in the original contests or b) doing a revote, particulary if the terms of it are still biased to favor Clinton. Split the delegates and seat them and move on. This situation is not Obama''s fault, no matter how politically convenient it is for you to cast it that way.

After Clinton has made Richarderson one of his Ambassadors, this is what thanks he get, like I said earlier people have no sense of loyalty and integrity towards one another, people will stab you in the back, at any opportune time, if they think it would benefit them in the long-term in some shape or form, next I will be looking for Obama to announce that Richarderson will be his Vice Presidential running mate.

Bill Richarderson endorsed Obama Today for President, I can not believe he would do this given the type of Church and Pastor he has been associated for the last 20yrs, Now I question where is Richarderson loyalty and integrity, you know what I believe Obama has made a deal with Richarderson, If he gives his endorse to him, Obama may give him the Vice Presidency position. Now I said that to say this, Hispanics are people of color as well, I see a race war coming between the Blacks, White and Hispanics, now that Richardeson endorsed Obama, this country is going to be even more divided between the races, I hope this thing backs fire on Obama and Richarderson.

I can not believe that Richarderson has falling for Obama''s deceptive speeches, Obama reminds me of an occult leader like Jim Jones of the Jonestown incident of the early 1970''s, where this man was so charismatic speeches that was able to get masses of people to drink tainted kool-aid, which brought to their deaths, Obama has that same aura that follows him, no matter what Obama does, says, or negatively involved in; brainwashed, gullible people who would still follow and support him.

What I do not understand Richarderson thinking processes, How can Obama bring this country back together knowing that he belonged to an African Based church that has a Pastor who Preaches Anti-Americanism, Separatism , Racism, and Bigotry? This truly blows my mind, well if Obama becomes the nominee, I hope all Hillary Supporters and Independent voters switch to, or stick with Hillary, how can we put a man in office such as this? If Hillary is not the nominee, I will try and put up a Ralph Nader Blog and encourage all Hillary supporters and Independents to vote for Nader in very large masse in order to block Obama from the Presidency, and if John McCain or Ralph Nader gets the Presidency, so be it, I will be finished supporting the Democratic Party, and I hope other people who believe in my position, do the same, we can not have a person like Obama be our Commander and Chief, Obama is not be trusted.

BEFORE VOTING FOR THIS MAN know just who and what you are voting for... It is now time for Senator John McCain and his implementation of the John Boyden, Esq. plan to "disappear" the Navajo of Arizona, so as to profit from the sale of Coal under their land, to be brought to Justice for criminal violation of the United States own Human Rights Laws, in a pattern of behavior that mirrors that of NAZI GERMANY and it''''s Genocide of the Jews of Europe..

Along with him, officials of the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs who arranged to embezzle the licensing money paid in by Peabody Western Coal, supposedly for use to help the Navajo, but embezzled anyway, along with officials of the Bureau of Land Management and Mines, who manipulate the wildlife rights of American Indians every year, so as to reduce their number, concentration and ability to prosper by living off the land. In the most BRAZEN coordinated effort of Genocide in History, corrupt public officials are literally murdering the Navajo of Arizona and converting their lives and their lands into instant personal gain, by selling them off under the table to mining industry and the Power Industry. In Arizona, John McCain claims there is a "Range War" going on in the Black Mesa.

I''m a Black American Male, who did not and will not turn my back on the Clinton''s, and vote for Obama because he%u2019s Black, I see that many; not all, in my race of people have no Loyalty, Integrity, or Dependability to no one or thing, including when it comes to the Clinton%u2019s, (Mainly Hillary) who was depending on the loyalty of the Black vote for President. When Bill Clinton was running for President twice in the 90''s, the Black American Community voted for him in the millions, but now that a Black man is running for President and goes apes over a mean because he looks, good smiles well, kisses%u2019 babies, etc, don%u2019t forget, can speak very well delivering fiery, earth shattering, mesmerizing speeches that really are deceptive in nature, they%u2019d jumped ship, and dumped the Clintons along with trashing him and has wife for a Black inexperienced candidate who has been associated with and mentored by a known racist, and bigot, who also Preaches Anti-Americanism often in the church pulpit Obama attended for over 20yrs, and God knows what or who else Obama%u2019s been in involved in or with. The media is a joke too for setting on this story for over a year, the main objective and strategy was to build Obama up to get rid of Hillary early doing the primaries to make it easier for the Republican Nominee to keep control of the White House.

I have made a very informed, intelligent, and responsible decision to cast vote my for Hillary, not because she''s Bill Clinton%u2019s wife, or because she''s a woman, but because Hillary has the most experience and qualifications to clean-up the mess Bush will leave behind in 2009.

I also see that many of my Black leaders in government and my civil right''s leaders have jumped ship from the Clintons to Obama too, another reason why I accurately stated that many people in my race have no loyalty to any body, never the less the Clinton%u2019s who have tried their best to make life better for all races here in America.

Yes, I would like to see a Black President and a Woman President of either race in office, being a State Senator is not enough, I want and expect for him or her to be well experienced at the national level, that%u2019s very much needed due the domestic, political, and social crisis this country faces here at home and abroad. I think that is very irresponsible just to vote for a person based on race or gender, but instead on who is the most experienced person for the job, I have donated and worked in her campaign here in Ohio, and I will continue to do so until she was the Presidency in 09.

It''s time fro Obama to make a very mature and responsible decision to shut down his campaign in light of these new revelations of walking with an Anti-American and bigoted Pastor, Obama shays he did not agree with what his Pastor and Spiritual mentor said, but he sill fails to denounce him personally, how can he not do so? These words where authored and came directly out of Rev J. Wright''s mouth. My Bible tells me that "How can two walk together accept they Agree?" meaning Obama must have agreed with this man''s teachings and sat under his spiritual mentorship for over 2 decades, if this was not so, Obama would have used sound judgment and told Pastor Wright; We could no longer walk together, because I''m no-longer in agreement with your teachings, also can no longer have my family subjected to these types of messages, especially my two children and now on this day, I will pull my membership and dis-band my mentor relationship with you and this church, and have God lead me to another assembly where his living and true word is being preached and taught the members and visitors of the church.

So, Obama is not to be trusted or no-longer be credible enough to be over the highest office in America, the President of the USA. In my Opinion, all Obama had to had to do was leave that church and disbanded his relationship with Pastor Wright, and everything may have been alright for him, but instead he made and poor choice and judgment to remain in that situation, and even made his former Pastor a member of his Campaign staff, you see, The Bible also says %u201CWe reap what we sow%u201D, and if %u201CWe sow to the wind we will reap the Whirlwind%u201D, meaning there%u2019s consequences to our actions, and some day, they will come back to haunt us, when we least expect it. I believe if he was not in agreement with his Pastor on similar messages he preached like this one, he should have separated himself and his family from Wright in all capacities. So, now that the covers have been pulled some back on Obama; revealing some of who he really is and the company he keeps, because believe it or not, "You are known by the company you keep", "Birds of a feather flock together", and "if it sounds, quacks, walks, and looks like a duck, You can safely conclude that it''s a duck," Obama now agrees to denounce his Pastor''s belief systems on this particular subject without denouncing the Pastor himself.

Hillary , now is our only hope and chance of unifying this party and be able to bring home the Presidency for the Democrats, because if we continue support and take a risk on Obama to achieve this tall task, We will be calling Senator John McCain Mr. President in Jan, 09, instead of Madam President Hillary Clinton, lets real here after this incident involving Obama and his church, do you really believe that the Majority of Whites and many Blacks like me; will vote for a man in this position, I truly and honestly don''t this will happen, I would be very shocked and surprised if at did , but it''s still highly unlikely that will transpire. Obama is now a party liability, tainted and toast for the Presidency at this point, not unless, Hillary''s chances for winning the office is totally un-realistic and out of reach for her.

Give me Colin Powell, give me David Paterson, give me Harold Ford, Jr, give me anyone of color for President, but please not someone who belongs to a separatist church, who publicly embraces its racist minister after condemning our Nation, while at the same time he publicly shames his own white relative and refers to her as a ''typical white''. The more I know of Obama, the more I realize the contradiction of the man and his message. This is not bringing people together. This is not unity. This is not the change that we seek. This IS a man conflicted. This IS someone whose core values say one thing while his politics say another. This IS someone who should be in a therapists office and not the oval office. Obama is a hypocrite for accepting Richardeson endorsement because he blieved that the superdelegates should for the candidate that the people voted for in the individual states doing the primareis, Richarderson''s state voting for Hillary over Obama, so Richarderson should have endorsed Hillary, and Obama should have encouraged him to do that so that he not look like he''s taking out of the both sides of his mouth.

Richarderson is laos a backstabber to the clintons, after clinton his made him one of his ambassedors, Ise their no loyalty to any one in this party, people are all out for themseleves, I hope this back fires on them, I beleive Richarderson wants the VP position, I also believe Obama his made a backroom deal with him for his endorsement of him.
