Zuckerberg's Social Accounts Fall Victim To Hacker Attack

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – Allegedly using a password stolen in a LinkedIn security breach, a group of hackers claim they have gained access to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's Pinterest and LinkedIn accounts.

A hacker group named the OurMine Team posted a tweet claiming credit for accessing the accounts on Sunday.

The group identified the password Zuckerberg used as "dadada."

Facebook Inc. released a statement Monday morning saying that none of the company's systems or accounts were accessed and that Zuckerberg's affected accounts have since been re-secured.

The group also hacked into his Pinterest account which has since been restored.

The OurMine Team claimed it gained access to the password from passwords leaked in a massive LinkedIn data breach in May.

According to Facebook, Zuckerberg's Facebook account and password were not compromised and his account on Facebook-owned Instagram was also unaffected.

Zuckerberg is not alone.

Several high profile Twitter users have also had their accounts hijacked in recent weeks including rapper Tenacious D and rock star Katy Perry.
