Wrong Way Buster: Giants Fans Poke Fun At Posey After Trophy Presentation Slip Up
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey was one of three Giants given the honor of delivering the recent World Series trophies to the field before the home opener Monday.
As he, Tim Lincecum and Bruce Bochy stepped out of the center field gate, the former MVP held his trophy facing him, unlike the other two presenters.

The trio carried the trophies out to the pitcher's mound, where Posey set his down without ever noticing his trophy was backwards. Causing social media users to poke a little fun at the fan favorite.
You had one job Posey, put the trophy up right... ???? jk still love you @BusterPosey #SFGOpeningDay

No matter how he sets them down, Giants fans have to be impressed by Posey's ability to get his hands on World Series trophies. In six seasons - only four of which he was active and healthy for the majority of the season - Buster has 3 titles, not to mention and MVP and a Rookie of the Year Award.
By the singing of the National Anthem, the trophy had been turned.
