Woman Beaten With Baseball Bat, Robbed On SFSU Campus

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman was robbed and beaten with a baseball bat at San Francisco State University.

It happened early Sunday morning, around 1:07 a.m. near Mary Ward Hall in the designated smoking area, according to University Police

According to the report, the victim was with a friend when 3 females approached her. One hit her with the bat several times as another grabbed her belongings.

The victim suffered cuts and facial bruising.

One suspect was described as 18-20 years old, and had dark shoulder-length hair. She wore high-heels, a Giants t-shirt and had 2 studs in her lower-lip.

Another suspect had curly shoulder-length hair and was wearing large, gold bamboo earrings. There was no description for the third suspect.

The suspects fled in 2 nearby cars. One vehicle was described as a white sedan, the other a black 4-door.
