Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Concord Hospital Parking Lot

CONCORD (CBS SF) -- A man robbed a woman at gunpoint in a hospital parking lot in Concord Monday morning, police said.

The man approached the woman as she got out of her car in the John Muir Medical Center parking lot just after 7 a.m., police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.

He robbed her, ordered her to get back into her car then got into his own car and fled the area, Blakely said.

He was last seen driving the 2010-2015 dark-colored Sedan toward state Highway 242, Blakely said. He is described as a black man in his 20s, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and dreadlocks, Blakely said.

Investigators are working to obtain surveillance footage of the suspect from the hospital.
