Woman Nearly Drives Into San Francisco After Big Lunch Puts Her To Sleep Behind Wheel
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman driving a BMW nearly drove her car into San Francisco Bay after eating a big lunch and falling asleep behind the wheel.
The CHP said the woman thinks she fell asleep after eating a big lunch, and veered off the road.
It happened in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Candlestick Point.
No one was hurt.
