Woman Killed, Man Critically Injured In Vallejo Shooting

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A woman was killed and a man was critically injured in a shooting at a residence in Vallejo early Wednesday morning, police said.

Police responded at 12:45 a.m. to a report of a shooting inside a residence in the 600 block of Virginia Street, Sgt. Fabio Rodriguez said in a press release.

Both adults in the house suffered gunshot wounds and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Rodriguez said.

The man was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition, Rodriguez said. Police are withholding both identities.
