Woman Hospitalized After Dog Attack In Oakland Hills

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A woman had to be hospitalized after she was bitten by a dog in the Oakland hills on Monday morning, police said.

The incident occurred in the 4800 block of Lowrey Road, near the Lake Chabot Golf Course, at 9:46 a.m. Monday, according to police.

The woman is being treated for multiple bite marks, police said.

Oakland police said further details about the incident will be released by Oakland Animal Services officials, who weren't immediately available for comment.
