Woman Found Unconscious With Head Injury, Robbed In SF's Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman was found robbed and unconscious in San Francisco's Mission District early Wednesday morning, a police spokesman said.

A security guard called 911 at about 5:50 a.m., after coming across the unconscious woman in the 200 block of Capp Street, between 17th and 18th streets, San Francisco police Officer Gordon Shyy said.

Police and emergency medical crews responded to the scene and transported the woman to San Francisco General Hospital with a head injury.

She is expected to survive her injuries, Shyy said.

Police determined the woman was a victim of a robbery and described the suspect only as a male last seen wearing a white shirt and dark-colored pants, Shyy said.
