2 Tickets Matched Winning Numbers For $750 Million Powerball Jackpot

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF/AP) - There were two lucky winners in Saturday night's Powerball drawing with a whopping $750 million jackpot.

The drawing for Powerball jackpot was: 8-12-13-19-27 with a Powerball of 4.

Powerball officials say tickets purchased in Iowa and New York match all six numbers in Saturday night's drawing. The jackpot is the fourth-largest in U.S. history.

No one had gotten all the numbers needed for the grand prize since August but a lucky few matched 5 of 6 numbers and took home $1 million in the last drawing.

Saturday night's winners come four days after someone won a $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot, the second-largest lottery prize. The ticket was sold in South Carolina.

Powerball is played in 44 states, plus Washington, D.C., the U.S Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 292.2 million.
