Diablo Fire Near Byron Contained After Burning 128 Acres

BYRON (CBS SF) -- Crews battling the Diablo Fire near Byron have the blaze contained at 128 acres, Cal Fire said on Twitter at 3:52 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters will stay at the scene for a few more hours to make sure the fire is completely under control, Cal Fire said. Drivers in the area are asked to use caution.

The brush fire was reported about 9:20 a.m. near Vasco Road and Camino Diablo in Contra Costa County.

No injuries have been reported and no structures have been damaged. The cause is under investigation.
