Wettest Parts Of Bay Area See Over 2 Inches Of Rain In 12-Hour Period As Storm Moves Through

GUERNEVILLE (CBS SF) -- Most of the Bay Area received a quarter-inch of rain or less Sunday morning, according to unofficial 12-hour rainfall totals from the National Weather Service.

Some parts of Sonoma County have seen rainfall in excess of a half-inch.

At Venado, near Guerneville, 2.08 inches of rainfall have been recorded. At Warm Springs Dam they've seen 0.76 inches of rainfall and 0.51 inches have fallen at Sea Ranch on the Sonoma County coast.

Mount Saint Helena in Napa County has also seen significant rainfall at 0.48 inches in the last 12 hours.

Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Monterey, Marin, Contra Costa and Alameda counties have all received less than 0.25 inches of rain.

San Francisco had received just 0.01 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
