Wet Weather Floods Van Ness Muni Station In San Francisco Causing Delays In Service

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – The wet weather is once again creating havoc on roadways across the Bay Area Wednesday, and has also caused delays for San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency service.

The Van Ness Muni Metro Station is closed Wednesday morning due to areas of flooding.

According to the MTA's Twitter feed, the agency is advising passengers to take surface transportation.

Muni said all lines are delayed because of the flooding and shuttle buses are supplementing service. Trains are running through Van Ness, but not stopping at the station.

There is no estimate so far when the station might reopen.
