Weather Forces More Than 100 SFO Flight Cancellations

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CBS SF) -- Rainy weather caused more than 100 flight cancellations at San Francisco International Airport Friday morning, as well as flight delays of more than an hour, an airport duty manager said.

As of about noon, 51 arrivals and 52 departures had been canceled at SFO, airport duty manager Larry Mares said.

Travelers whose flights have not been canceled are experiencing delays of about 30 to 60 minutes, with some flights delayed as much as 90 minutes, Mares said.
