Water main break sends torrent of water through San Francisco Castro District neighborhood
A water main break flooded a street in San Francisco's Castro District Sunday morning.
The San Francisco Fire Department said in a social media post just before 9 a.m. that the water main ruptured at 19th and Collingwood Streets next to Eureka Valley Park.

Fire crews and Water Department personnel were on the scene and water service was shut down between 18th and 19th Street.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the water main break. People were being urged to avoid the area.
