Justin Timberlake & Anna Kendrick perform a heart-warming acoustic version of "True Colors" at #Cannes2016.

Timberlake played an acoustic guitar backed by a second guitar, all of which produced a more somber rendition of the song. Add to that Timberlake and Kendrick's inspiring harmonies and the song takes on an even more meaningful quality, if that's even possible.

Timberlake has been serving as the film's executive music producer, and hinted during an interview on May 11 that the soundtrack will feature, in part, Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani.

As for he and Kendrick, the two seem to be fast friends. Kendrick even appeared in Timberlake's music video for his newest song "Can't Stop the Feeling."
