Virtual Tour Of North Bay Vineyards, Breweries, Scenic Spots Along Highway 101 On Google Street View

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- You won't need a designated driver to tour wineries and breweries along U.S. Route 101 anymore now that the scenic route has been added to Street Street View on Google Maps.

Tuesday, Google announced the addition of dozens of virtual tours giving wine and beer enthusiasts a 360-degree view inside some of the best sipping spots along the 1500-mile stretch of open road.

If virtual imbibing isn't your thing, Street View also added virtual nature tours, showcasing California's most picturesque hiking trails, camping spots and scenic beaches.

Highway 101 runs through California, Oregon, and Washington, and sometimes merges with Highway 1 along the coast.
