Video: Shots Fired At Dallas Love Field Airport

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- An officer shot a man involved in a domestic dispute at Dallas Love Field Airport, according to police.

Assistant Dallas Police Chief Randall Blankenbaker told reporters the man was using rocks to attack a woman in a car outside the airport's baggage area.

Blankenbaker said the man rushed the officer and the officer retreated, and the officer opened fire when the man rushed him agains.

Witnesses at the airport say they saw an officer with his gun drawn and then there was a burst of gunfire.

On a video posted on Instagram more then eight shots can be heard being fired. There are also sounds of someone screaming and officers yelling "stay down" over and over.
