VIDEO: Dramatic Helicopter Rescue Of Injured Construction Worker Atop 270-Foot Crane

LOS ANGELES (CBS SF) -- All eyes were transfixed on a dramatic helicopter rescue atop a 270-foot crane in Southern California Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics were called around 1:28 p.m., after a construction worker was injured atop the crane located at 825 S. Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

Officials decided the best way to bring the 50-year-old man down from safely was to use a helicopter.

The dramatic rescue was captured on video.
