Victim robbed on the street near UC Berkeley
Police are investigating a robbery near the University of California, Berkeley on Sunday night.
According to police, the robbery happened around 8:50 p.m. in the 2600 block of College Avenue. A male person wearing a ski mask and a dark blue "Berkeley" sweatshirt reportedly approached someone on the sidewalk and stole jewelry and other items from his victim.
The suspect fled northbound on College Avenue and then westbound towards Telegraph Avenue.
