Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle, Critically Hurt Near SF Stonestown Mall

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman was taken to a hospital Friday night after a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle near San Francisco's Stonestown shopping center.

The crash was reported at 9:32 p.m. in the vicinity of 19th Avenue and Winston Drive, near Stonestown Galleria, after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The female adult victim was critically injured and taken to San Francisco General Hospital, KPIX 5 has learned.

San Francisco police have taken over investigation at the scene.
