Vegetation Fire South of Santa Rosa Brought Under Control
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- Fire crews in Santa Rosa were able to Sonoma County Fire crews contain a vegetation fire burning south of the city Tuesday evening, according to authorities.
The Santa Rosa Fire Twitter account posted at around 5:45 p.m. that firefighters were assisting the Sonoma County Fire District with a vegetation fire in the 400 block Bellevue Avenue south of the city limits.
The post warned that smoke is significantly impacting West Santa Rosa.
Shortly before 6 p.m., the account posted that the spread of the fire had been stopped, though smoke might still impact some areas near Santa Rosa.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
