Vallejo House Being Renovated Destroyed In Early-Morning Blaze

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters extinguished a residential structure fire at a vacant home in Vallejo early Sunday morning, but the roof collapsed and the residence was deemed a total loss.

The fire was reported on Twitter at 4:40 a.m. near the 900 block of Palou Street.

As of 7:37 a.m., firefighters said the home was a total loss.

No injuries were reported, however. The vacant residence was under renovation and in between tenants, according to firefighters.
